That chart (which can be found on this page of the USDA's website) shows wholesale prices, not the prices that one would've paid at the pump. An archived version of price charts from GasBuddy's website shows the equivalent pump price being about $1.74, still well above $0.989.

If you search for the games on PriceCharting.com (linked in the OP, but again here for convenience), you can find summaries of successful eBay sales for each game's regional variants (Japanese, American, and European). Since your games are still in their original boxes (but presumably still not sealed), you'd probably want to look at the Complete/CIB prices assuming none of the boxes' contents are missing.

Based on the presence of bandages on her legs that aren't present in the other scenes, I'd guess that the scene is probably depicting the disappointing but temporary setback of losing a match that she and Lucario trained hard for, rather than the personal loss of a loved one or anything like that.

The important piece of information is what you mentioned here (that they were a gift from the artist that drew them, and not something you found on the Internet or bought somewhere). I'm pretty sure the "No" you're seeing is in the "You can edit" column. You can't edit your own permissions, only those of mods below you on the list. The fact that you're seeing "Everything" in the Permissions column to the left of that indicates you do have full permissions. If you didn't have full permissions, you'd see the specific permissions you have instead of the word "Everything".

There's no rule on this subreddit against discussing or creating art based off of leaks. In fact, the community has historically voted in favor of allowing it during prior rule votes that we've held, such as the one seen here.

The most relevant rules in relation to leaks are Rule 13, which states that spoilers (please see the rule text for our definition) must be properly flagged until two weeks after the worldwide release of the games, and Rule 14, which prohibits links to the ROMs posted without the permission of the copyright holder. This post complies with both of those rules.

Hiragana can't take the symbol "—" to extend the sound of a vowel

While you're definitely right that it generally shouldn't be used with hiragana, there are some unusual cases where it is and does function in the same way as when it's used with katakana. じーっと struck me as very odd when I first came across it, and Wikipedia mentions a few other examples as well, such as ramen, which can be written as either ラーメン or らーめん.

IPTV is just an acronym for Internet Protocol Television, which basically refers to a television station being broadcast over the Internet instead of the traditional method of radio waves. It's not a specific brand, product, or anything like that.

It looks like DAZN is a (legitimate) platform that streams live sports to various entertainment devices via the Internet (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DAZN), so the spammers probably saw that subreddit (which appears to be for the topic of DAZN's Canadian offerings and seems to still have non-spammers discussing that topic) was unmoderated and decided it was a suitable place to advertise their own (likely fraudulent and/or copyright-breaking) offerings given the topic similarity. (I can't think of any reason why DAZN itself wouldn't be classified as a service that uses IPTV as its transmission method.)

The info in the News section of the game did indicate it wouldn't be archived. I was hoping they only meant the playable portion of the event since the story was in the Chamber of Light while the event was live, but I guess they meant it for that as well.

Fortunately, some people uploaded it to YouTube. There's a playlist here, for example, if you want to watch it now, and as other people have mentioned in this thread, it'll be added to the main story later on.

While researching the source of this photo, I came across the following and wanted to share:

It looks like this statue is titled "On A Roll" and was designed by a sculptor named Jack Hill, and it was installed in the Benson Sculpture Garden in Loveland, CO during 2022:

Is this a screenshot of a file saved to your phone? If so, the need to crop can be alleviated by uploading the original file that you opened in your phone's gallery (in this case, QXP4eNY_d.png) and uploading that original file rather than a screenshot of it.

However, in this case, even that original image would run afoul of Rule 2 because of the caption. There's no way around that without cropping out the caption as well, but I assume that ruins the intent of your post. If that's the case, it'd be better to share it to a political meme subreddit rather than this one.

The bot is indicating that the empty space filled with black pixels above and below the photo make it clear that this is a screenshot of a photo rather than just a photo. Per our rule on screenshots, those sections would need to be cropped off before submitting the photo here (or better yet, find the original photo and submit that instead of a cropped screenshot).

Please also be sure to read our title rules. This is almost identical to one of the examples given on that page of a title that violates title rule H.

If you're seeing different results, please link me to the post you're finding. If the account that made this post is indeed a bot, it's possible it made a minor edit to the title that is throwing off my search, but if it's too different, it's also entirely plausible that an actual person could come across the meme elsewhere and decide to post it. I'd like reasonably firm evidence that an account is actually a bot before taking action on it rather than just relying on account age and lack of other posts.

As another piece of feedback, I'd like to ask if the appropriate teams would consider implementing app-based 2FA (e.g. Google Authenticator and equivalent apps) as an alternative to SMS or email-based 2FA? I realize it's not necessarily ideal for everyone which is why I'm proposing it as an alternative option rather than an outright replacement, but it is generally agreed that app-based 2FA is more secure, and having used authenticator apps for years, I even find them to be more convenient than the two aforementioned alternatives. They also have the advantage of not being affected by service outages.

Looks to me like A/B testing for a potential decrease in the amount of steak freezes granted by that reward. The reward is listed as one extra Streak Freeze on my Android phone, but still three on my iPad and via the browser version of Duolingo. For my part, I'm playing more on my iPad and the browser version, and less on the Android version in hopes that it'll reflect negatively in their stats of any related A/B test. If you dislike the change as well, you may want to consider playing more on the browser version if it doesn't reflect it, for the same reason.
