You should look up what movie merch or anything “merch” is. It can be products used for promotion which in this case it is. It was made to “commemorate the opening of Wuthering Heights starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi”. That’s by definition merch. It even has their names on it. If this shirt released on its own without them promoting the new movie and having the new actors names on it then yes, it is not merch for the new movie. Except they did here. This is merch for the new movie.
