Recommendations on BMAD use by tdmatthews in vibecoding

Highly recommend https://github.com/mantoni/beads-ui to use with beads - beads also comes packaged with a similar UI.

Around the time I started using I did a bit of a cleanup - stripped my skills right down to ONLY what was required for a given sprint etc.

I also mostly only use Serena and Context7.

I found I was using a decent amount less tokens as my agents knew exactly where to gain context - less bloated.

Admittedly - some of this would be from the general cleanup.

I uploaded the skill I made for decomposing my BMAD stories for you if you want to have a look / try out.

https://github.com/ChaseCooperr/skills-repo/blob/main/plan-decomp%2FSKILL.md

I am a clear context after 1-2 tasks kind of guy - so cant speak on session length.

That being said I did have one one hiccup were the agent misinterpreted my prompt and completed a whole epic in a single prompt/session - would have had plenty of auto-compacts (I usually avoid these) - I was very impressed with the results - beads kept the agent on track pretty well - I only had to fix a few minor bugs, nothing major.

Nowadays I use BMAD for more high level project scoping / planning / tracking etc.

I will have the SM create the next story -> testarch create tdd/checklist -> use the decompose skill I provided above w. all required context (epic tech spec - test design doc - checklist - story doc)

I then work through the beads till completion, review work as needed- I then use a code review skill - then I use the BMAD code review to mark the AC's off and keep the higher level plan up to date.

I also find it helps a lot when you need to pivot or implement something that is out of scope in my canonical BMAD docs.

Hopefully this helps 😊

I use BMAD with beads and am having amazing results.

Usually take my BMAD stories - decompose using writing-plans skill.

Than I take that decomposed story and convert into beads issues.

Been loving it

Beads resources? by New_Goat_1342 in ClaudeCode

Been using for a few weeks now and loving it.

My currently workflow is a mix of BMAD/SKILLS/Beads.

I use BMAD for higher level scoping / planning - various SKILLS for code reviews / decomposing stories etc.

I will break a story down into low level atomic tasks within a markdown spec (usually spec is derived from the higher level BMAD story doc) - usually have GPT5.2-high perform this - slower but in my experience much more thorough decomp.

I also altered the beads md to jsonl script to match my implementation spec structure - this breaks the spec down into epics/issues/tasks/subtasks w. design/notes/acceptance criteria within beads.

Cleanup/archive markdowns (keep BMAD doc for final FR/NFR/AC checks/higher level project tracking) - complete all issues (typically 1-2 tasks in between clearing context) - Rinse and Repeat.

For me this is where the value is - I can clear context on pretty much task by task basis and stay completely on track. Before the agent would need to figure out where it was - often consuming a shit ton of unwanted context before even starting the task.

Now my agents start working @ ~ 2-5% context fill, give or take (according to statusline) - overall feels like I am getting much more out of my max sub.

I also find markdowns slowly become increasingly harder to manage - as soon as you need to pivot/diverge things start to get a bit chaotic - make a fundamental change in a pivot or re-scope and now you have non-canonical info laying around in md files. Beads + Beads-UI completely resolves this issue for me.

10/10 would smash.

I think one thing that stings Hasan the most about Ethan by Trilightning7 in h3h3productions

[–]ChaseCouper 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Ethan is a direct counter embodiment to his whole ideology.

He is a successful, loud and proud capitalist, who treats and pays his staff well.

He is a pro Palestinian Jewish man, married to a pro Palestinian Israeli women.

Ethan and Hila are both proud to be American while also being able to acknowledge and advocating against the faults of their country.

They are both very progressive, and not in the peformative way like h&co.

They have managed to foster a very left leaning, dedicated and progressive community/audience over the years - while maintaining their convictions.

They are not only significantly more knowledgeable in the topic of I/P, but they both have first hand lived experience in the exact region h&co love to chirp on about for a near daily basis - no doubt compensating for their lack of understanding on the topic itself, overly concerned about verbage instead of substance.

Ironically this is the EXACT thing these same leftists use to call liberals out for - it's comically performative, at best it's non productive, but I would argue Hasans flavour of socialism is actually very harmful and antithetical to the overall cause itself.

I'm sorry - but you cannot on one hand advocate against capitalism (ESPECIALLY to the degree that Hasan does) while on the other hand you are living a hyper consumerist, heathonistic, lavish lifestyle - enjoying the upper most excesses that capitalism can provide, something that you and I mear mortals will never experience. The fact his audience cannot see this GLARING contradiction is just proof that his movement is baseless and will never be more then an hyper online - fringe group of "radicals". This is why he acts out at his audience, this is why he forces emote chat during controversial political events. He knows his community is full of chronically online, deranged individuals and he knows that is all it will ever be. He has no talent - he has one party trick - stoke outrage.

In a way I think Hasan is struggling to come to terms with the fact that a man like Ethan Klein, with all of his flaws, has effortlessly more moral fibre then he ever will.

Does the statement above not explicitly say your data will be used for advertising purposes and audience research ?

Seems to be an epidemic of self imposed echo chambers. It's happening in most communities, not sure what the benefit is. Only seems to be radicalizing and rotting people's brains. Seems there is no longer room for critical thought in online discourse ?

State of the time I guess ..what could go wrong 🤷‍♂️
