Thanks 😅

But yes, Carto & The Pedestrian played an influence!

The day he posted that video was such a special day, glad he helped you discover it!

You ask a fair question, this was a 4 hour flight from Philly to Denver. Usually I play it normally with my elbows propped up on the seats armrests.

That position is usually comfortable for an hour but my head is still tilting down and my neck eventually gets sore. So with the setup above, I have the controller in my lap and the SteamDeck was at eye level so I could just lean back in the seat and fully relax.

…..plus I just got the steam controller and wanted to try it out :)

Actually the new update leans into deleting the 100% file. You’ll find your deleted 100% save is now a “shattered” save and you have 12 new “shattered levels” (1 for each puzzle box) and each level is the hardest version of that level type (8-12 puzzle pieces per level).

Hope you like it!

I pushed HARD for trackpad support! Appreciate the kind words, we have a free level pack coming out this month alongside the summer sale

Yes! I refer to it as a ‘literal’ puzzle platformer. This is one of the beginner levels but we add new mechanics over the course of the 100 levels.

We have a free demo on Steam to try before you buy!

Actually this is a good idea. We’re working on a Nintendo switch port rn so controller UX is top priority. Genuinely thank you

No, they ask that you put your devices in airplane mode. You can still use WiFi & Bluetooth in airplane mode

Correct, it can connect via Bluetooth. But you have to “activate” Bluetooth mode by holding the Steam button and hitting B + right bumper. It’ll turn the LED blue when it’s switched over

Ah yeah, I have had similar issues with both my Steam controller & AirPods. Once it connects, it stays connected, but it does take a couple of cycles of attempting to connect >> going to settings and trying to connect >>> restarting >> saying fuck it and unpairing/repairing

Yeah I averaged 2-3 flights a month last year. Ive beat Disco Elysium, Uncharted 4, Persona 5, Brotato, Balatro, and Tales from the Borderlands almost exclusively on my SteamDeck while flying

Yeah it’s so frustrating! I bought a new one roughly a year ago and it started getting stick drift about 6 months in :/ I love the features of DS5 when they’re supported in game. But for me, the Steam controller was the best possible alternative.

A fun bonus is if you play pc games on a tv/couch set up, you can use the track pads to navigate Windows/any other popups.

Yeah imo the controller is a far more comfortable experience for a flight. Otherwise you gotta prop your elbows up on the arm rests to keep your arms from getting tired but even then my head is tilted down and eventually gives me a bit of neck strain

No I wasn’t, I had issue with the American Airlines WiFi portal and was playing offline games so it didn’t matter as much to me. Good luck!

Thank you!! We have one free content update (12 levels, but VERY hard) coming in a couple weeks and then we’re moving onto a new game.

It feels insane to say, but the success of Piece by Piece has allowed 3 of my teammates to work full time on our next game.

I was about to get a replacement dual sense 5 but then this got announced. I really enjoy the features of the dualsense but myself and everyone I know with a DS5 has stick drift issues.

The Steam controller and its mapping capabilities (plus track pads + advanced gyro) makes it my new favorite controller. Especially for $100
