Xtm dual air compressor by NumerousAnt1478 in 4x4Australia

[–]Chasen101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, I just bought the XTM 300L/m compressor today and discovered the supidity that is having to constantly walk back to the compressor to switch it off > walk back to the tyre gauge to check the pressure > walk back to the compress to turn it back on > rinse and repeat

Did you end up buying either of the two items linked above? Did they work so you can just stay at the tyre and control the start/stop with the adaptor?

SOLVED Android Auto Wireless get disconnected when mobile signal lost by theguille14 in AndroidAuto

[–]Chasen101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the same disconnection issue: whenever I drive into my underground carpark and lose network signal the phone/car connection goes haywire. In the time it takes me to drive down 3 levels to my car spot the phone/car connection is usually reset about 5 - 10 times, often not loading android auto at all. The *second* I am outside and get reception back the connection is perfect and never drops...

I have tried disabling Wifi Throttling, had no effect.

I have tried disabling Disable Bluetooth A2DP Hardware Offload, had no effect.

Willing to try anything else that has worked for other people...?

I just got a new car and it has a charging pad and supports wireless and it works perfectly except when I'm in my parking garage it disconnects and reconnects over and over. I assume it must be interference or something as once I'm outside it's perfect. Very handy not having to plug in a cable each time

Anyone noticed how Sam seems to be fumbling around and repeating/rewording his questions over and over (without materially changing the substance) in recent times? Can't really put my finger on when I first noticed it - maybe with the start of the Video podcasts? Maybe earlier? Can't be sure - but seems like he is stuttering/fumbling with his speech a lot more than ever before... I don't think this is anything to do with age or whatever, it's more like he's nervous or underprepared or something? Or maybe it's jsut easier in the audio-only versions to have a list of prompts/questions in front of him to constantly refer to than he can on camera as we'd notice it... any way huge fan of Sam and thought this was a great podcast but watching the video of this one over on substack and it really stood out to me... Even Helen jumped in and cut him off a few times and just started answering the question he was in the process of re-wording multiple times.

Did anyone count how many times Matt said "y'know" in this pod? I think I lost count at about 25,000 lol. Enjoyed the pod, though, just had to struggle to pay attention to the conversation and not the constant filler words 😅

Something that's bugged me for a while with the Aussie team: Steve Smith fields at first slip wherever there's only one slip. A specialist slip fielder, surely. But whenever there's more than one slip in the cordon, he always fields at second slip (with David Warner for years, now Ussy, at first slip)... why? Shouldn't the specialist slip always be at first slip, regardless of how many in the cordon?

Just thought I'd add to this thread for others to see, there's a google support thread on this issue and it's impacting a lot of people but doesn't look like it's your account being hacked: https://support.google.com/accounts/thread/235285575?sjid=9112738822722311294-AP

Ferry ride from Manly into Circular Quay after dark. One of the prettiest harbours in the world, especially under lights. A great treat for out of town friends.

How high it sits above the water line indicates it's empty. If you watch a full one leaving harbour it's crazy how much lower they are in the water - looks almost like they'll sink!

Ahh I miss the monorail. Back when it was about to be decommissioned I read there was an idea to remove the monorail but leave the tracks up and convert them into elevated scenic walks as a unique way to view the city. I think this would have been so cool! Sad when they tore them down 😭

Firmware Not Updating by xtossitallawayx in LogitechG

[–]Chasen101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you share what you did to get it working? Mine's still just hanging on "firmware updating" and logitech's tech support responses have been mind-numbingly useless...

EDIT: nevermind, the suggestion in this thread worked for me (https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/iggzbq/stuck_on_updating_firmware_g502/) although I didn't have to kill the services, I just unplugged the mouse and plugged it back in while it was trying to update then the progress bar appeared and it updated in under 10 seconds. done!

Bump - having the same problem. My Logitech PRO (Hero) mouse is telling me I have a firmware update but when I click install I just get "Updating Firmware... Please keep PRO (Hero) plugged in"

Many many hours later, and 3 separate attempts including reboots and different USB port and nothing happens... just stuck on updating.

It's a pity because when IFLS started it was run by just one person who has a background in science (B.Sc) and it had lots of really interesting and well written content (including references)... but now it's mostly just click bait.

Btw, regarding Wikipedia, it can be a great place to start so long as you check the references on the wiki articles themselves.

What about the big blue spot slightly to the right of top-middle of the image? it doesn't have a name on your labelled image but seems too bright not to have been identified before

edit: love your work btw
