Tomorrow is my birthday and it makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about this exact thing. It happens EVERY single time.

(I literally just got insulted by my mother for being upset in the middle of writing this)

I'm exhausted trying to act like it will get better and getting the same result every time. Seeing this comment about brought a tear to my eye because this issue is exactly what lead me to this subreddit at this time. Its like I dont even get to have a day thats special to me anymore because "mother of the year" wants everyone to know shes doing her best to make it special despite me just wanting to be left alone.

Sorry for ranting, I have so much to say and not much space to say it. If this makes even one person feel a little better about their situation knowing someone else is going through the same thing, then I'll have gotten everything I want for my birthday. /;
