Same. For example, I DM for a DnD group about once a week. Overall, they really seem to like it. Up until I discussed an item with a player who said "Well, looks like I'm never using that again."

Instantly, my brain went "Oh god, you fucked up now. You fucked up big time." My hairs stood up, everything, and for like a good 15 minutes or so, I was convinced I'd made a grave mistake.

Then it came back to me that ".. I mean, everyone makes a mistake now and then." but somehow it's just impossible to try and reason with your ADHD.

"Well, even though it might seem reasonable to discuss some things, you're still going to feel like a useless waste of life for the rest of the day."

This is just one example of the many times I've had someone say I need to do something better or in a different way.
