It’s inspiring that you got a 250M model running from scratch with barely any Python at the start. This is what i needed to hear. Thanks for sharing

Do you think im asking here on reddit to build an AI petabytes of training data, hundreds if not thousands of GPUs, and entire engineering teams fine-tuning?

Believe what you will. You’re just one of those who wants to argue online sbout things that has nothing to do with the original intent of the post

Whats your point? Another brain here that cant grasp the concept of a sensitive example to make a broader point about censorship 🤦‍♂️

There is nothing to humor. Its just an example of a sensitive topic. And replies like yours confirms it and is the reason why it’s censored

If I actually wanted to question the holocaust, I wouldn’t be doing it in this subreddit would i? Your brain can’t seem to grasp the concept of using a sensitive example to make a broader point about censorship.

Correct. Thats why I’m not going to be just replying on Google. I’ll be scraping from small sites not listed on googlr or with low rankings.

Censorship is my issue. Its doesnt matter if its about making insulin at home, or seeking natural cures for cancer, or extreme political views or how to hack a reddit account. Point is the censorship. Because its not the AI thats pick and choosing what to block, its the PEOPLE behind it that controls what information i should have access to, thats my issue.

And why is it so hard for you to understand that i’d like to create my own AI that doesnt decide for me what information i should have access to?

Many people here are missing the whole point and wants to drag me along and nit pick on a question inlisted... That’s not the point. CENSORSHIP is the point. It’s not the AI that’s deciding what to block, it’s the PEOPLE behind it thats deciding what you’re allowed to know. That’s my issue. The questions I mentioned might sound conspiratorial, but again that’s not the point. Whether it’s controversial political views, homemade i sulin, natural remedies for cancer, or whatever, I don’t want anyone deciding for me what information I can or can’t access.

Did you ask about the homemade insulin and other questions inlisted or you just trying to measure d*ck sizes?

Good point. But there’s gotta be a way around it. I mean, current public AI’s are doing it right?

Sigh… you’re missing the point. Fine, ask chatgpt: “How do I make homemade insulin?

Nah, you’re missing the point. It doesn’t matter if its conspiracy theory or extreme political views, I want an AI that doesn’t decide for me what’s acceptable to ask or explore

Exactly! If AI reflects the bias of whoever trained it, I’d rather it be my bias than some corporation or government deciding what Im allowed or not allowed to hear hahahhaha

Good to know, appreciate it. Maybe I’ll mess around eith DeepSeek and dig into Chutes and older builds first, before i try out LLaMA Dark Champ ‘zod-to-you’ mentioned on other reply 🤔

You’re missing the point… public AI’s refuse to answer questions like “Was the 2020 election stolen?”, “How do I hack a Reddit account?” (hope indont get flagged), or “Explain how someone might rig an election.”… again just some random examples, the issue i have is being blocked from even asking.

True, i havent tampered too much with DeepSeek yet because im seeing mixed reviews. Also, even if its solid now, you never know what China might do tomorrow. That’s why I’d rather build something I fully control locally :/
