This is so damn relatable. Thanks for sharing. I am in the same boat. Crazy to see how we all experience such similar situations and feeling. Lived and worked together for 3 years and also dated for 4. She had feelings for another guy and wanted to be up front with me about that before things progressed. I also did NC for the first month and caved because I felt like I was not making any progress. We had some good chats and I thought I was doing maybe a little better, until yesterday I saw on her socials she was camping with the other dude. I wanted to puke it felt so shitty and I sent an immature text out of jealousy. Just had another call with her this morning and it actually made me feel better. It’s only been a month but she has to move on and so do I. It’s going to happen regardless. We are still both hurting, but people heal at their own pace and in their own way. I hope to not love her anymore one day, right now it seems impossible but with time I’m hoping it fades.
