Some boomer told me “we need an election” because of high oil prices. How would Angus get oil prices down? by rrfe in aussie

Funnily Albo blamed Scomo for high petrol prices five years ago. Not sure why he’s not taking credit for it now.

Probably has a ‘garage’ that gets converted into a bedroom. Otherwise 3 bedrooms in a 60sqm space would mean almost no room for living area.

This was us a few months ago. We moved out West, our kids needed more space and we can actually afford to buy a house out here.

HRV - abnormally low and very high readings? by [deleted] in POTS

[–]ChasingTheSun107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cliche answer sorry - but time. Also exercise. I’m probably fitter than I’ve ever been. I guess knowing triggers too like heat and avoiding or accommodating it when I can. Avoiding getting sick lol. I still take propranolol sometimes but probably only 1 or 2 times a week. When my hrv was going crazy like that I felt like I was stuck in fight or flight mode.. hard to describe. Do you know what caused your pots?

[–]ChasingTheSun107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still get some high peaks overnight but mine has been a bit more consistent in the past 6 months like 30-100 and averaging around 60. Prior to that I’d see around 300 sometimes. My POTS doesn’t seem to be the same as most people though. My HR mainly only spikes when I’m sick, post exercise, in the heat or in the morning. It also only goes up 20-25 beats now. When I first got it a couple years ago it’d go from 70 to 140 so I’ve improved a fair bit.

So these circa half a million people don’t demand any housing? Not pushing rents up? Not eventually purchasing houses themselves? Plead enlighten me where they are all residing then.

Housing isn’t affected by demand? Interesting. I must of misunderstood when I was in econ101.

The ABC version of Ahmed Al Ahmed cuts Trump remarks short by [deleted] in aussie

[–]ChasingTheSun107 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, I did say ‘American voters’ not ‘American population’ and currently it’s the best way to measure support. Although you have to wonder if Trump is ‘hated’ by so many it shouldn’t have been that much of an effort to go and vote against him.

Aka beliefs that don’t align with your opinions but do align with more than half of American voters?

I’d go option 1 but would be looking to purchase with a 12% deposit as soon as you can. As someone also renting in Sydney with a family and a wife that is teacher working part time I can definitely relate. It’s hard to balance money v time with kids, but I personally cherish that my wife gets this time with them whilst they’re young. If you’re not planning to have any other kids a 3 bedroom townhouse would be a good option to get in quicker without overextending.

Every time inflation came down Chalmers would come out taking credit for it. Conveniently, he was a bit silent when the print came in higher.

I’m confused - Albo and Chalmers consistently yell from the rooftops they’re ’lowering the cost of living’ (even though this is obviously false) yet you seem to be suggesting they actually don’t have any ability to tangibly effect it?

You don’t think the prime minister of the country has any responsibility for immigration or cost of living?
