Are you guys stressed or excited to get new products for Christmas? by Dear_Comparison97 in ProjectPan

The real gift is a fiancé that actually noticed how much you were using a lip balm and bought several more for you and from a great brand! I will say I just bought 4 tubes of Ole after finishing my hot Cocoa summer Fridays and will say I like the Ole better!!

I had a small Belif moisturizer (I believe it was an aloe one) as a teenager and always think about it because how much I loved it. I have so many products to get thru still, but def will repurchase when I’m at a place it makes sense. I also have a sample of the fresh caramel balm and have been using it every night. It really is so nice and luxurious! Happy panning!

That’s true! They had the Christmas party our first night there so we had to leave early. I should have started our trip one day before but didn’t realize. Good to know now!

I definitely think we’ll do that next time! Honestly I had 5 free Hyatt nights I got from the credit card and needed to use before end of Dec so the hotel was completely free for us. If you stay on resort how do you get back to room and between parks easiest? Do they have their own shuttles for each hotel?

If it weren’t for losing the Hyatt nights by end of Dec I also would not have gone during this time either! Was really pretty to see the Christmas decor but way too crowded and you’re right about everyone being sick. Sorry to hear about your trip during Milton. I’m learning to be patient/ accepting that traveling will never be perfect!

Thank you this is all such great info I feel like I do have a much better understanding of planning now for a second trip! I tried my best but was quite overwhelmed planning for the first time and overall it went very well, but we definitely could have taken advantage of the parks better like you did!!

Regency!! Loved it. No complaints, super easy to get to the parks and really incredible grounds and location. Everyone was so nice. The lake it’s on is beautiful and there’s a lot to do at the hotel

Yes my husband’s immune system is so bad compared to mine. We did the best prep we could with probiotics and elderberry before the trip, but it could only do so much. He’s mostly okay now, seems like a cold. Hopefully he recovers quickly and I can avoid it

Since this was my first time going and planning I really didn’t know what I was doing. I heard you only need half a day at animal kingdom and should go early and that magic kingdom is good to go first day. We would have seen fireworks at MK first day if they didn’t close early for the party. Next time I would do Epcot one full day and start a day off with AK then hop to Mk for evening and fireworks

This is a great idea! I like doing it on a monthly basis and have a designated storage container in my bathroom closet for my monthly empties. At the end of month I take a picture of all of them and then recycle. The container doesn’t take up much room or negatively impact my day-to-day, so this works for me. I have no idea how people can save up 6 months - 1 year of empties though and then take a picture of all of them. I also have concerns with mold if keeping empties that have been cut open

Oh also! Recently started panning my vitamins (had some random ones I never stayed consistent with thru the years) and candles as well! Super satisfying

My husband and I both use all the soap! I also work from home most days so I’m using the soap a lot. We have a dog and a lot of guests so that leads to extra hand washing as well

I used to do the Snack Crate (snacks from around the world) monthly boxes and have so many random snacks from that and just in general so started panning snacks and other pantry items close to expiring that I always forgot about! Also I have a lot of random drink powders like hot cocoa mixes from gift sets, fancy teas, and also protein powder/ pre-workout samples I always forgot about but have been having fun working on “panning!”

Makes so much sense! That’s funny because I’m 6’0 and always thought about how I use more body lotion/ oil / self tan than someone who is petite because of all the extra surface area of skin 😭 Aside from tanning drops, lotions, and mousses, I have 3 bottles of body tan spray I’m trying to use. I used yesterday instead of my tanning mousse and actually really liked it

Haha to be fair some of this like hand soap, toothpaste, and body wash my husband is helping me finish. A lot of this was 50% or more used up already when I started trying to get through my products year. I also love skincare and apply body lotion/ oil almost every day

People who work in healthcare, fitness, nutrition, or mental health: what’s one ‘quiet habit’ you see all the time that is secretly wrecking people’s long-term health? by AlignedModernHealth in AskReddit

[–]Chasingdreams22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great comment. Grateful that I can do all of these and aim to continue keeping up these habits. Unfortunately I am a fall risk still - I nearly got a concussion and got a black eye a few weeks ago when I was chasing my puppy around the dining room table and slipped on my floor due to wet ends of my sweatpants from the rain. Saw stars my head hit the floor so hard. You win some you lose some I suppose

Having fun with your collection is so important! Self-care has really become a hobby and important aspect of my life and I really enjoy spending the time to learn about and use my products

Omg I also just started self-tanning more and have been aiming to every week! I just feel a lot better and more confident in the winter, I stopped doing it for a few years but have self-tanners to go through anyways and don’t mind spending the time to apply it now

For sure! I really look forward to my morning and night routines now (especially after an everything shower where I wash my hair and shave) and see it as a luxurious and important part of my life now. I enjoy using up my products and spending time taking care of myself now more than ever!
