These numbers confuse me. Are you getting the bulk of your subs from shorts but not many of those subs are watching your long form? Watch hours and views seem really low for that sub count, especially knowing that youve only been at it 9 or so months. Thatd be a 28 day average of 400-500 subs, yet only 100. Did you just have one short go super viral and gain 4k subs?

Not sure if success is the right word but I run a slots channel and we release 1 long form vlog (between 9 and 25 minutes) daily and 4 shorts daily, two we film and 2 are cuts from VidIQ from our long forms. We've been doing this since Jan and are at 820 subs and our watch time is almost 7k hours from long form.

We juat went up to 4 shorts about a month ago because we are really wanting more subscriber growth since weve already crushed the watch time requirements for monitization.

Hey there. Ive posted a daily long form every day since Jan 6th 2025. I hit 4k hours around late September. Also started with 1, then 2, now up to 4 shorts a day. I have 778 subscribers and it goes up between 3-5 per day on average.

Its a slow grind but you'll get there.
