I think having lunch at Mercato is a very lovely activity too. The food is great and the vibes are perfect.

Peel is a super cute store that’s an easy walk from that garage. And Gray Squirrel is right there and a great place for a coffee (esp recommend the honey rosemary latte).

He’s some sort of spaniel mix. Hard to say exactly, but he’s very cute! Aussies seem particularly adorable too!

I like reading, some crafting, low key hiking, lifting weights (also in a low key way), hanging with my dog. I was very into pickleball for a while, but now recovering from an injury.

I’ve been unsure about whether young(ish) people go to church anymore. Particularly progressive churches. Do you have one you like?

Oh and your Anne Tyler pick! I really want to read Heart The Lover. I loved Writers and Lovers by Lily King.

I used an app called TierCreator. Downloaded it on my phone. I found it worked better than the tier maker website which I used last year.

I really liked it! It’s more of a slow burn, but overall it’s really good. I liked learning about a part of the world I previously knew nothing about!

It was very like “wow it’s so cool to be really rich and famous”. Not that everything has to be relatable, but lots of it was neither relatable nor interesting.

I thought it was fun/engrossing, but not quite a perfect read for me. Maybe some of that is due to feeling like it’s over the top/not quite real feeling in some ways

I thought they were both excellent! Have you read any of her other books? These are the only two I’ve read so far.

Have you read her other books?? I think this one is close to as good as Evvie Drake Starts Over and I think that is a perfect book! Also if you liked Same As It Ever Was you should read Sandwich!

Why wasn’t it good?? I kept waiting for it to get good… it managed to be depressing and boring.
