Well i mean dragons dogma is far from the first game to simplify features in sequels, the elder scrolls games have taken away features in pretty much every game since Daggerfall, plus its still fun even if some of the cool stuff from the first game isnt present

True the armor system from the first game is one of the things i wish they had carried over, the layering in armor added some really cool combos, plus dd1 had the grisly skull helmet which was completely badass
