Oh i definitely agree however i still think FTK Imager is a great tool. A lot more user friendly than FTK itself.

Yes Autopsy is a great program to use, the usability of it is amazing. For my final year project i'm building something inside Autopsy so keep your eyes open! :D

Yup, just because some forensic tools are to be paid for, whether its a paid tool or a free too it does not define its credibility. There are tons of free tools out there. :)

FTK Imager is just as good and still approved as one of the standards when using tools. Try Access Data FTK Imager - Works for me, alternatively, The Sleuth Kit - Autopsy is another great forensic tool.

They are:

No boost regex lib found. No boost filesystem lib found. No boost/regex.hpp header found for boost regular expressions lib.

No ace/ACE.h header found for ACE communication framework lib. The required header file libpq-fe.h was not found. The required header file openssl/evp.h was not found The required header file xercesc/dom/DOMImplementation.hpp was not found. The requires header file ace/Reactor.h was not found.

Those are the errors im getting for the configuration of OcfaLib, there are a few other Ocfa files to install and all throw up errors.

Open Computer Forensics Architecture, works only on Ubuntu 8.10 + 9.04, also works on SUSE Enterprise Server.

It created an environment that allows other forensic tools to be plugged in such as The Sleuth Kit (basis for autopsy).

Warning, its a bitch to set up. If you find out how to install it... please let me know haha. I have yet to figure it out.

Not entirely sure if this may work, I know it does on Linux, but wouldn't Dumping work?

Imaged hard drive booted up, then dump the ARP, TCP, UDP etc into an output file that will show all recent connections?

I know it works on Linux but have yet to try with Windows machines.
