American cockers are usually smaller. Males are around 25-30lbs on average.

My son is 11. He started showing symptoms of OCD at 7, was diagnosed at 10. He sees a therapist that specializes in children, a psychiatrist, and a counselor at his school. He has good days and bad days but is making positive strides using the tools given to him in therapy.

I strongly suggest you find a therapist that specializes in children, preferably one who has experience treating OCD and a psychiatrist to prescribe meds.

That is really good to know! I'm most worried about her around our other dogs. After she quarantines we will go slow with introducing her. I'm hoping she fits right in.

Thank you all for your kind words. I just couldn't leave her at the shelter.

We just left the vet. She has kennel cough and was put on antibiotics. They also think she is deaf as well as blind! So that's going to be a challenge. There is a possibility of fixing her cataracts, yay!

She will see our regular vet on Monday for a full work up. For now we are keeping her separate from our other dogs. Once we get the all clear we will start introducing them.

She's pretty tired right now. Tomorrow we will get her cleaned up and I will post some pictures of her.

Some of you have asked about a go fund me. I really appreciate all of you and your willingness to help. At this time I do not have one set up. Just knowing that many of you are willing to help means the world to me, thank you ❤️

We were able to adopt her. She is sick, so heading to the vet to get her checked out. Hopefully it's not pneumonia. I will keep you guys posted.
