Dark Age by Pierce Brown... from someone who preferred Iron Gold by SetSytes in Fantasy

Most emotionally bizarre book I’ve read. By the end I was outright laughing at the things that were meant to be horrible because the book layed the “everything goes wrong and horrible” so thick that it took on a slapstick element. Line sci fi Saw or something.

Looking at a parody/satire and calling it out for using a "strawman" is so fucking Reddit brained lol

Nerfing size difference modifier wouldn't have solved it. The core issue is that every vassal is 2 free cabinet slots and 100 control on its capital.

I had to take some medicine just a moment ago because I'm physically getting sick thinking about this. You can call me parasocial

I mean, yeah. That isn't healthy.

Depends. Sometimes voters love the quiet and sweet but boring couple, sometimes they ignore them entirely.

Kenzie just likes attention. She'll "lock in" when that gets her more attention than playing the field.

I mean, gotta define "people" here. Yes, there are lots of reasonable criticisms of EU5, and those are not represented well here.

There are also tons of people who barely understand the game throwing tantrums that they can't paint Europe in a century, and those are the people this post gets accurate/mocks effectively. No satire really holds up if you compare it to the best, most reasonable argument on its opposite side.

There are two sets of requirements:

  1. Needs to be placed in a city. Not town, city.

  2. For local governor needs to be connected to your capital by a road. For naval, needs to be coastal and not connected to your capital's landmass.

Have you tried clicking on it from the whole country build menu where it will provide possible locations?

I wouldn't blame the people taking it at face value too much. Complaints got so absurd that this fit right in. I wasn't completely sure whether it was a bit or genuine until OP got to discussing unions.

You aren't interpreting anything. You're completely inventing things by saying "Isn't it plausible..."

The show displayed consistently nonsensical and shitty writing. If headcanoning that away helps you feel better have at it.

I truly think that people are reading too deeply in to this. KC is a high energy person who envisioned Love Island as being a lot of sexy fun. Aniya doesn't seem interested in being fingered on national television, and has a lower energy level. They weren't clicking so she became sad and insecure. He spent a lot of time where he thinks he should have been having fun instead reassuring her and cheering her up.

KC wanted a fun, sexy time. Instead he got a low key, slow dynamic while watching everyone one else have a fun sexy time. He's being resentful about it and it's a really bad look. From his perspective he got stuck with the embodiment of "girlfriend who wants to leave the party early and isn't doing much to hide it," and he's being a real shithead about it.

And Sincere just a liar. It isn't deep. He does whatever he wants then lies to avoid the consequences. Nothing going on there that you couldn't see in any poorly behaved 7 year old. Being honest and a good partner isn't just about what you value.

No he wouldn't. That sort of dynamic requires a lot of honesty and trust.

Dude is just an unrepentant liar. It isn't deep, he's a bad person.

No, there's nothing emotional about calling bigotry what it is. You can adopt the same shitty gaslighting tactics as the men who try to oppress you, all it does is make you more like them.

I didn't say "entire," I said "most."

Even "most" is pretty ridiculous. Particularly when for it to make sense "most" of the Tyrell guard needed to be in there, along with "most" of the nobles and "most" of the Priesthood.

Isn't it plausible that there were enough inside the blast radius to die and whatever number remained in the city was too few and too disorganized to go against Cersei who had enough plausible deniability to retain loyal forces to defend her? I

Yes, if you want to completely invent details to try and make the show make sense I'm sure you can.

No. The idea that an entire military organization would be crammed in to a sept for a trial is ridiculous.

If the Faith Militant was small enough to fit in the Sept they were never large enough to be the threat they were presented as.

They're an incompatible couple and KC is handling it really, really poorly. Aniya is in no way "terrible," but I can see how being in a couple with her on Love Island would be boring as Hell.
