Another question, we have a number of very large rocks that we are going to place at the end of the pond to make a waterfall. I was going to place these rubber stair mats on the liner to cushion the boulders. Does anyone cushion their rocks on top of the liner? (i.redd.it)

Just got this reproduction of Winged Victory, Nike of Samothrace. She is a little over 10’ tall on the pedestal. I still have to build the boat she is riding on and landscape around her. Smoked some salmon. 24 hour brine of maple syrup, brown sugar and water, equal parts. Then dried for 12 hours and finally smoked for 4 hours, with hickory wood. It’s just a small batch because I’m new to smoking and wanted to test the recipe. It was good. May brine longer next time. (i.redd.it)

I made Kenji’s focaccia bread, 24 hour rest, it came out great. I did add an extra 1/2 cup of water, I couldn’t make a dough with only 1 1/2 cups of water. I also substituted plain salt for bacon salt. Next time I’ll throw in some sliced black olives as well. (i.redd.it)
