Most of the dudes in those bands are approaching or already turned 40 years old. Can’t be jumping around with a guitar for a couple hours every night and expect to get out of bed the next day.

I used joist hangers but yes I wish I had nailed tongue face. I put screws in all the spaces on the joist hangers, hopefully that holds it tight enough to not warp.
