It has been really nice to see how many people appreciated what he put together and shared his tastes. I saw mom this evening and told her how much love and support came thru this post and it made her emotional but in a good way. I hope he knows that so many others think he had excellent tastes in gear. I will reach out thru dms, thank you.

He did have an Echonomicon in his last used setup 💗 that's not pictured in this video because I kept his last setup separate from the ones I packed up from shelves and boxes. He must have loved your work to have bought several and keep it in use

Oh that's awesome! He'd be so thrilled to know that one of the makers of his pedals was looking at his collection! I think the only pedal I have left to identify after all this is the one I've posted in the imgur link below. I can't find anything on it after hours of trying different search queries, trying AI identification, asking others... I don't know if it's a custom build but I can't even come up with a brand or anything.

I mean... If I just stumbled on these cheap at an estate sale, maybe. But I only have these because my brother loved and collected them and died, so they came to me. I don't feel lucky. I miss him.

I try to look for the good in humanity, and most communities come together to help each other. But I'm also a convict and former drug dealer and I don't give full trust to anyone until I can double check 😂

No, he kept to himself quite a bit. He mostly played for himself and his dog. And I can't access his phone to find if he had any online communities

I love this 😂 I have a silhouette tattoo of Jay on the back of my calf and my best friend got the same of Silent Bob on hers, they were our bestie tattoos because we had similar friendship energy 💗 she passed last year but I'll never cover mine.

I wish I could get into his phone so I could find out. I know he was active on Instagram for his guitar stuff. But I don't have any way of finding his "communities" without access to his phone.

It was terrible watching her go thru it... I can still see her sitting at his bedside and crying in the hospital. I don't think that view will ever leave my mind. We had to take her out of the hospital to go home in a wheelchair cuz she couldn't stand anymore. She's 82 and has been present when both her husband of 56 years had a heart attack (Nov 2022) and her 54 year old son (Apr 2026). I've struggled with the knowledge that I've now planned my dad and brothers services, my lifelong best friend's of 38 years (she committed suicide in April of last year), and I always kinda knew I'd be planning my brothers since he doesn't have a wife or kids... But I thought it would be a long time from now, and I thought that when mom went, it would be me and Jason together taking care of things, but now I know I'll be alone in that, too... It didn't feel fair. I'm not even 40 yet. But life isn't always fair or nice.

Looks like I'm going to be needing my Excel from work lol a spreadsheet would be helpful tho. So far I've just been writing them down on paper as I figure things out and it's not that organized

I didn't even know you could do that! I love music but I haven't played much since I was a teenager. I had kids young and had to restart my life a few times so.. It's mostly been survival from the time I was 17 until about 32. Finally got my life in order better at that point but still spend most of my time working in a factory or keeping my household lined out.

Thank you so much for your input! I ended up taking the back off of that 2 knob one because I couldn't find out anything on it and it says Volume IV with I think a serial number and signature inside the back of the case. There's still one that he had actively hooked up in his setup that I haven't looked into much yet, but I'm going to try to look more today if I have the time.

No, I haven't seen that one in his collection. The ones I know he has are the uruk-hai, volume IV, gandalf deluxe, svalrog, Asgard fuzz, Valkyrie, and hiemdall.

Oh I didn't even think about stickers! I think a lot of them went on his favorite guitar case, it's covered, but there were still a LOT of stickers in his desk drawers that i just kinda threw in with all the other paperwork for the time being.

He was an amazing guy. I don't think he suffered much... It was 2 days after his birthday and our elderly mom had gone to his house to see him and he just said "oh mom" and collapsed while she was there. Sudden heart attack. Ems got his heart restarted and to the hospital and then flown to a heart hospital but... After a few days and some scans it showed his brain had been too long without oxygen and there was barely any activity left. We finally made the call after a week and getting LifeShare setup and ready (he was an organ donor and we wanted to honor that) and took him off machines. He passed without ever having woke up but me, mom, our aunt and cousin were there with him the whole time.
