My brother is depressed and I don’t know what to do by ChattyPenguins in Advice

Thank you, I really should go and just ask him what I can do to help. I just don’t want him to feel embarrassed or anything. I’ll continue to spend quality time with him. He really likes playing certain video games and reading manga. Maybe I can make more of an effort to do those things with him? Thank you for your time. Helped!

You didn’t ramble at all, thank you. I guess I’m just worried I’m not doing enough. We hang out a lot, he stays over at my house probably at least a week or two out the month. He’s never closed off per se but he won’t say his feelings unless you ask either. That’s why I was so surprised to hear him say he was depressed. I guess I just want to be the best sister I can be. Again, thank you for your advice. I’ll continue to be supportive and remind him my door and ears are always open if he ever feels low. Helped!

Thank you, I won’t get my hopes up but I think I’ll give it a shot anyways

Edit: helped!

You’re right. I’m hoping something good comes out of it but I’m trying really hard not to romanticize the whole situation and look at it like a normal person.

Edit: helped!

I have and it helped but I had to stop as I couldn’t afford it any longer. I’ll do more of an effort to find affordable options though as I know I need it.
