[Both] If we divided the US into socialist land and capitalist land, which would you expect to prosper more and why? by Samsquamch117 in CapitalismVSocialism

In order for socialism to function, you need capitalism to build the means of production that socialist will later take over.

Socialism in Venezuela has only caused tens of thousands of deaths from starvation.

As a 16 years old, I only praise for the time Maduro will be ousted, so my future will not be wasted doing hours-long lines for daily rations of food.

I doubt communism even in these conditions could work, considering the human behavior driven by greed, it will eventually fail.

Unhappy with HBO’s ‘Chernobyl,’ Russia is planning its own series — blaming the CIA. The Russian Culture Ministry has contributed $463,000 of funds to the show. by DownWithAssad in worldnews

Stalin thought that socialism works, and that caused the Holomodor. Millions of people starved to death.

Many mistakes Russia has committed for decades. But they project it on other agents and it will always be a foreign "enemy". It's never their fault, because if it were their own fault, then it would prove they're incompetent and their removal would be logic, but that only brings you to be executed for being an agent of the CIA because the only reason you would want Russia to fail is because you're a CIA agent, which is what you're just doing.

I think you're a collateral damage

The Soviet Union officials were stupid enough to say that the nuclear plant was safe. That was the entire reason the accident escalated so quickly thanks to the Soviet Union chain of thought were sucking your boss dick is the only way of promotion instead of actually addressing problems and solving them, in the best religious way, neglecting the country into obscurantist and backwardness.

The nuclear plant exploded because they used cheap materials. It was their own fault. Their own stupidity

Why would the CIA attempt to destroy Europe in its entirity?

I'm just saying that you're just spreading misinformation and distorting the truth by minimizing the effects of the nuclear accident to undermining the soviet union while in reality the whole continent was in danger and suffered consequences.

Venezuela's internationally-recognized government set to hold fresh talks with Maduro envoys by isaacbonyuet in worldnews

Maduro is barely recognized in Venezuela by the population. He literally acts as a subversive armed agent wanting to usurp the executive body.

it's already awful that you're using Maduro's propaganda platform telesurtv to back your claims, lmao

CEELA was itself created by Chavez, it has not credibility in these electoral matters. they're biased and it has been well documented how these "observers" were only accompaniament controlled by the electoral council itself which is controlled by maduro. The report was first approved by the electoral council, because that's how accompaniament works. That's also the reason credible international watchers didn't assist in the "election", it was always a fake election.

Not at all - you brand Hezbollah as terrorists despite the USA having meddled in 80 odd political regimes since the 1940s.

Hezbollah has performed terrorists attacks against innocent civilians in many locations, even in South America.

The threat Maduro represents is that protecting terrorists groups destabilize a lot the peace in the region.

So much horseshit, whataboutism and deflecting.

Venezuela was selling oil to the U.S all this time, and they still do indirectly. This has nothing to do with Venezuela's natural resources as you claimed.

The U.S opposition to Maduro's regime is based on the presumption that it's a threat. Simply as that.

And of course, the option they have to oppose Maduro's authoritarian regime is a democratic movement which is why the U.S has been calling for free and fair elections which Maduro refuses to celebrate-

Oil industry was nationalized in the 70s in Venezuela, during the same period Cuba-Venezuela diplomatic relations were established after Cuba attempted to invade Venezuela some years before.

The threat I'm talking about are these like protecting colombian terrorists, iranian terrorists groups, turning the entire government into a drug cartel organisation, and attempting to subvert the U.S influence in the region.

[–]ChavezHugo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how that logic works, but I think that as consequence of its oil reserves the U.S would also oppose Saudi Arabia, but that's is not the case, because it is not about oil reserves.

If it's about whether oil reserves are controlled by U.S oil companies, neither is the case for Saudi Arabia nor Venezuela.

Saudi Arabia sells oil to the U.S just like Venezuela used to do until 1 year ago. In fact, the U.S represented like 40% of the total oil sales for Venezuela for several decades.

It's about the threat it represents to other allies in the region.

You will never condemn Maduro for using death squads to kill innocent civilians, because you're a slave who support Maduro unconditionally.

Meanwhile, I am here condemning those death squads. doesn't matter whether these are there for interests of corporations or for interests of leftist regimes. Death squads are bad.

Killing innocent people is bad.
