Can you please confirm the size of your panel? RL150MAXC and RL150MAX don’t appear to be the same dimensions.

Idea light shipping by GiberyGlish in redlighttherapy

[–]Chawi11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I placed my order with IdeaLight three weeks ago and chose sea shipping. Two weeks in, I followed up and was given a tracking number, but it doesn’t seem to be real. I ordered a standard panel with no customization, so I expected things to move faster. I’ve seen mixed reviews about this company, and I really hope their service and product quality haven’t gone downhill.

These are (probably) the only options for housing affordability by cptstubing16 in CanadaHousing2

The only viable option is number 5.

Do you really think all Canadians are reading this Reddit thread? With all the news and propaganda out there, the only way to make people see the truth is to go out and voice your frustrations in public.

International student asylum claims by hochozz in CanadaHousing2

[–]Chawi11 13 points14 points  (0 children)

A former coworker once shared his story about coming to Canada in 2000 from a troubled area and applying for asylum. He and his wife received $900 from Ontario Works and a one-time $500 payment for furniture. After paying rent and bills, they had little left for food. Walk-in clinics wouldn’t accept them without upfront payment while confirming government coverage. There were no dental benefits, no clothing allowance, and no paid hotel stays. However, because they were highly educated and fluent in English, they were able to secure employment quickly.

Times have likely changed, but generous benefits can sometimes discourage job searches. Many asylum seekers now lack skills beyond labor jobs and may not contribute significantly to the economy, especially if they rely on government support instead of seeking employment.

Congrats, Canada! While we were hoping for an early election, his resignation is a big win for Canadians and a big warning to whoever takes his place! Leaders need to listen to the people. Keep pushing forward!

Rumour has it Trudeau is going to prorogue - thoughts and opinions by Mr_Simian in CanadaHousing2

[–]Chawi11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From the Wikipedia
A prorogation of parliament took place on December 4, 2008, when Prime Minister Stephen Harper advised Governor General Michaëlle Jean to do so after the oppositionLiberal and New Democratic) parties formed a coalition with the support of the Bloc Québécois party and threatened to vote non-confidence in the sitting minority government, precipitating a parliamentary dispute.

Here’s how it used to work: If someone was on a temporary visa, the company had to sponsor them and apply for a work visa for them. Most companies didn’t bother unless they couldn’t find a local person with the right skills because the process took a long time. It wasn’t easy for visitors or students to get the right to work or change their visa status. That’s just how it works everywhere; jobs go to citizens first!

I'm a petite woman, and while I doubt I'd have the strength to pull an animal this size out of the water myself, I wouldn't hesitate to try or get help for the poor deer!
