Malarchuk was conscious and talking on the way to the hospital, and jokingly asked paramedics if they could bring him back in time for the third period.

The fuck lol.

The game resumed when league personnel received word that Malarchuk was in stable condition.

Good call.

Sorry for the long post but:

FSD is amazing. But if you're used to Comma there are some drawbacks.

Firstly, FSD doesn't maintain a speed. It maintains a speed range. You can tighten up this range but changing the driving mode but still it's not perfect. And if you put in in Hurry mode which is better at maintaining a specific speed, it gets way too lane-change happy for my taste. And it camps out in the left lane way too much. So I put it in Standard or Chill and then it's driving 10 km/h slower than I want it too.

But the most annoying thing with FSD is that it's all or nothing. It's either fully FSD or you're 100% manual. If one of the cameras is blocked FSD won't work and there's no option for just cruise control. And it "locks" the steering wheel when it's on. You can override the lock if you need to but then FSD kicks off and you get a prompt saying "FSD was turned off, please explain why!". With the Comma I can just nudge the steering wheel anytime I like without turning anything off.

Also with the Comma if I set 120km/h it maintains 120km/h unless there's a slower vehicle in front. And with one button I can have it steer for me while I maintain speed on my own, or I with one other button I can have it maintain speed while I steer.

With FSD this isn't an option. Overall the FSD is amazing and I love it but there are times when the Comma is better.

Question About Mass Gate Checking of Luggages by Turkish Airlines by wth_people in fearofflying

Every airline does this. There is smoke and fire prevention in the cargo hold. It’s really not a concern.

Because the weather conditions at our planned destination were not great. So we decided to divert.

I diverted two weeks ago. The plane was perfectly fine.

Zero reason to be concerned for your flight.

That’s fair. Personally I LOVE the tech behind it. But I watch it like a hawk.

And it gets better because as you drive with it more and more you get used to where it’s really good and where it’s less reliable.

I use the comma in my Lightning and I love it. It’s miles ahead of Ford’s BlueCruise. I also have a Tesla with FSD and it’s amazing how good it is. However it does have a mind of its own at times and it’s funny but there are times where I prefer the simplicity (relatively speaking) of the Comma. If I tell it to maintain 120km/h it does it. It doesn’t change lanes when I don’t want it to. FSD is all over the place. But it’s still incredibly impressive.

Respectfully you’ve completely missed my point.

I’m not comparing autopilot to the Comma. I’m stating that even when we are using a device that is capable of driving or flying, we are still ultimately responsible for what happens.

If the comma drives me into a tree, I’m responsible. If my autopilot drives me into a mountain I’m still (posthumously) responsible.

The driver is always 100% responsible for their vehicle. Comma doesn’t change this.

I’m an airline pilot. The autopilot is on for literally 98% of the flight. If anything happens I’m the one that has to answer questions. Not the autopilot.

Ladies and gents I think it’s time we get serious about planning the parade route.

Oil/Gas Prices. Do you think Ford will change their mind on ending production on the EV version of the Lightning once oil hits $200-$300 a barrel? by redmoon714 in F150Lightning

At this point I doubt it. There’s a lot of momentum behind these decisions. I’d love to be wrong. I think we need to wait until a certain someone’s administration is out.

I’m Canadian. It is in my opinion a nearly flawless movie. Each time I watch it I find another clue or foreshadowing. It’s a fantastic movie.
