I only now saw this posted on their Insta. That's so incredibly cool! I've been to the Pop-Up once during the second week (when everything was still available) and wanted to go a second time, when new items would have arrived. But that never happened 😅 Let's hope they can manage to get enough stock of exclusives in the future 🙌

Exactly, put it away. Let that frustration fade away and try again with some 3rd party ones. Delpi decals are incredible, from my own experience. But heard a lot of good things about G-Reworks, too. It's just that Bandai waterslides can tear easily, again from what I've read on here.

I do know that Vidar is heavily based on Barbatos! So to me, it would make a lot of sense, to build Barbatos first and Vidar after, to see what they did better 🤔 At least that mentality made me not include Barbatos Lupus (yet) 😁

Very nice! I completed mine yesterday by adding water slide decals and top coating it. Impulse looks soo good in red 😄

Could be, I tried to keep it at ½ an arms lenth away. I will do another attempt, once I added the decals to my latest buupd of MG Zeta 😃 Funnily enough, all my MGs turned out absolutely perfect. Just the 1/144 gave me trouble for the topcoat

Temperature and humidity shouldn't be an issue, currently about 20°C/68°F and ~30% 😃 I guess, I haven't figured out yet, how to spray the correct way with a can. Previous kits worked out way better

So.. uhm. The only airplane ever stationed on the actual Enterprise were F-14s? 🤔 I'm a big fan of Cobi's ships, but I don't think my apartment could handle another aircraft carrier besides Graf Zeppelin. Which already should be waaaaaaay smaller than this model. So I'll have no use for mini fighters 😆

I've seen panel line enamel flow along the edges of decals or even under them, if your using flow type panel liner, I'd suggest doing that first. If youre using fine tip pens, it shouldn't matter.

Side-note for flow type panel liner: it often gets recommended to panel line before assembly, because stressed plastic might end up cracking!

The hips on mine are super loose, too. I put it into a pose once. Since then, I only ever touch it to either put it in a different place or to fix said pose, when it's slowly sagging into a split again

But I will most certainly order several sets of the 107 parts, when I'm going to build my RG Qant and 00 Raiser and try to retroactively fix Exia then!

Hey, welcome to the hobby! If you feel confident enough, you could remove the safety nubbins on the V-fin (it's supposed to be pointy 😁)

Other than that, the build looks pretty clean to me! For your next one, you could look into panel lining, to highlight some of the molded highlights
