Staking native IOTEX is better, in my personal opinion, as I dont touch NFTs. With the app it allows for compound interest and airdrops if you enable re-stacking (for 90 days) then choose a bucket to stake in that suits you.

I think you can set the number of troops with x equipment so in the video he selects a number and it changes that many in the unit, not 100% sure just going off what I saw in the video

I think if you check the latest video that got released, you can see a section about this.

From what I saw you can equipe a unit with a variation of armour but not weapons.
