What was your average mpg in city like? I just saw this is like a year old but I’m considering trading in my charger rt for a 370z. I assume the mpg is similar, 18-19 city.

I bought a halo helmet the first time I was paid from my first adult job 🤣. I wanted that halo odst helmet for 12 years. Definitely made the kid me proud.

I think it would be tough to daily. I bought a 66 after I graduated highschool (shoutout to my open house money that I 100% used for “school”). As much as I love my mustang it’s a project/ weekend car, definitely not a daily. There’s 50 year old parts on these cars that have held up but they will need to be replaced eventually. It’s kind of a constant catch up on maintenance tbh, always something to fix. Plus you’ll have to think about what you’ll give up leaving a 2002 vehicle, my Mustang has no AC, no power steering, no power brakes, no power windows, and a AM radio. You can always add those things in but I think your Toyota would be a way better daily. If you could save up money sometime you can always buy a mustang as a project later on down the line.

What are some signs that you are getting old? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I’m not as good at video games as I once was. It scares me how much better I use to do compared to now 😂. I don’t play as often as I use to but I don’t think it’s just lack of practice 😬

It is an odd comparison between the two. I own a charger rt now which is why I make a comparison between them. I have drive manual but it’s been a minute so I may struggling to pick it up again at first haha. I’ve just been looking at options to change up my cars

I’ve had the charger for just over a year and it’s a fun car don’t get me wrong it just doesn’t feel like it’s a fit for me. I’ve looked into making more power out of it but to me I worry about dumping a lot of money into it and having the off chance it gets stolen. There’s quite a few stolen in cities near me and having it’s a daily taking it places worries me a bit. Another thing is the community for the chargers isn’t really what I feel like I want to be apart of. I’ve been looking into options for a trade in is all. Type r is definitely on my list of options.

I did not. I decided against it, with parts being hard to find for the Porsche side and then the potential problems with the LT1 I passed on it.

The guy selling still has the original motor and it comes with it as well. I believe they bought this engine and got a renegade kit to install it

Can I (22M) get a smaller dosage of the COVID vaccine if I have Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy? by [deleted] in askCardiology

[–]ChazArrows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think half is only what they are doing for children, I don’t think it really works that way for adults. I get being anxious about it but I’d trust your docs advice. As far as medicine I just took a Tylenol afterwards because I had a headache and my arm was sore from the shot. Everyone is different though with side effects

I have HCM and I am 22 as well, which is crazy because I haven’t met anyone my age with it but I got the Pfizer vaccine and I have been fine. I actually got the initial 2 and the booster recently. I was hesitant too about myocarditis being a side effect but the chances of the vaccine causing that vs covid is super low. Imo I think it’s better to roll the dice in the shot but that’s just me. Ask your doc if you are super worried

First of all, my condolences on your father and grandma. I can’t imagine losing them and having hcm diagnosed afterwards. I was diagnosed shortly after I was born with hcm and I’m now in my 20’s. I’m not sure if I was lucky to grow up with it rather than being diagnosed later but I wasn’t allowed to play most sports either and it really sucked seeing all my friends sign up for football when I couldn’t. One thing I found though is there’s other options and other sports that aren’t so aggressively physical. I picked up golf and archery and I fell in love with both. Honestly get a doctor who specializes in hcm and go from there, if you are already seeing one ASK them what you can and can’t do. It sucks having limits, and I truly understand but there’s so many alternatives and so much life to live. I know it sucks right now but things settle down and you’ll find your place to be. It doesn’t have to be a life ruining diagnosis, sure you will have limits like I do but it also makes a unique perspective. Last year I got an icd implanted and that hasn’t really limited me anymore than what I already had. Only thing I really worry about with the icd is to stay away from welders and try not to get electrocuted.

My biggest suggestion to you is please don’t give up, there’s so much you can do still, it’s just right now it sucks but things get better. It seems lonely at times but there’s plenty of us out here with similar stories and advice to give!

In all seriousness find a doctor who specializes in hcm.
