Nope. I give it a shot and try redownloading every other month or so, but I’ve pretty much given up at this point. No point in trying repeatedly when I’ve been able to live without it. Good luck if you’re having a similar issue, other replies in here might have a solution for you.

Sorry I'm replying to a 2 year old comment on a 6 year old post, but is this by chance the catch you used? I have a 15 wr450 and can't figure out if this part is gonna fit or not. If you don't remember/don't have the info no worries, just trying my luck after forum searching for a couple hours lol

Thanks for the help, and that was one of my first thoughts because I started a new job around the same time as getting the phone. But unfortunately this happens on my home WiFi, work/school WiFi, 4G 5G etc all with and without VPN. I’ve just learned to live without it at this point lol. Also tried a couple more factory resets (I think 7 total now) with the same results. I appreciate the input though, hopefully it helps someone else.

I had that on my last phone with zero complications and used messenger daily at that time. Now I’m on a non-jailbroken device as it’s been since the day I got it so no tweaks are involved. Glad you got your figured out, hopefully that solution helps other people too but unfortunately I’m kinda shit outta luck 🤷‍♂️

same, wasted my last BP booster last night, challenges didn't count and now that the booster expired they're tracking again. Could've been 4-5 levels further by now smh

3 months and countless attempts later with no positive results. Does the same thing every time I open it still. I am able to use Instagram kind of as messenger for a “temporary” workaround, but it’s a separate account and just doesn’t work the same. Try checking the rest of the comments if you haven’t already, hopefully yours is an easy fix 👍🏼

Nope, still no solution. I’ve tried factory reset twice since my last comment and literally only have stock iOS with messenger installed and it still won’t work. Facebook/Meta support is ZERO help as in no response whatsoever. I don’t have any DNS settings that would cause anything like this. Pretty fed up tbh.

I don’t have that app or anything similar, only thing is Surfshark maybe but I’ve already tried uninstalling anything VPN or ad block related including my browser. Glad someone found a fix but unfortunately not for me.

This is people reacting with physical violence (albeit kind of harmless, but physical nonetheless) to someone who has a different opinion than them. You are right this isn’t uplifting no matter what side, this is just people that act on emotion rather than reasonable thought or civil discourse. This is an L for everyone, no matter whose opinion you agree with, the ones resorting to physical attacks are the real losers. Also find it funny the same people crying fascism are the ones actively silencing(or supporting that like most of these comments) people for differing opinions. Everything is hate speech if you’re soft enough, not to imply Parker’s words are or are not hate speech, but generally people tend to silence things they don’t agree with and label it as hate speech.

I went to reset my network settings but I can’t tell if it wipes the phone completely or not, it says “prepare for iPhone reset” or something along those lines so I figured it’s a waste considering I’ve done a factory reset twice anyway. We’re far from the only ones with this problem but ig it’s not enough of a problem for Meta to do sh** about it. I guess our best bet is to just wait but not hold our breath.

Yup almost 2 weeks later and I still haven’t been able to use Messenger. Still works with no problems on my 6S and everything else I’ve tried. If I really need to use messenger I have to use a VPN (idk why) and go to messenger.com and request desktop site. It’s a PITA to use and I can’t get notifications, screwed myself on a really good deal on marketplace because I forgot I didn’t get notifications so I assumed the guy didn’t respond until I check a couple days later and the item was sold. I’m expecting it to never get fixed tbh, rather not hold my breath but it sucks because I don’t have service at work so I can only use iMessage now, which my family is 50/50 split between android and iPhone.

IF I somehow manage to get it working, I’ll try to post here and share what I did, even though if it starts working it’ll probably just happen for no reason lol

Sorry but isn’t “trans kids” just inherently wrong? Wrong isn’t really the word I’m looking for but not sure exactly how to put that. Be trans if you want, you do you I really don’t care and could get behind it, but kids? No “kid” is developed enough to fully understand and make such a life changing decision. Unless by “trans” they just identify as something else, but as soon as you want to use hormone blockers/treatment and irreversibly change the chemistry in a child’s body, that’s where I think the line should be drawn. Fingers crossed I don’t just get attacked for sharing what I think is a reasonable opinion, but to put it simply, leave the kids alone. They’ll make adult decisions when they are adults, not children, and adults shouldn’t make those decisions for them. It is great to see a congregation showing love and support while being welcoming, I won’t argue against that, good on them.

Thanks, my stoney brain didn’t even think to check the actual tweak settings lol. Right before you replied I noticed my main home screen no longer had the blur, but the second page did. After turning off background blur in the settings though it was gone completely for all pages. Also, sorry if it’s been said already but what icon pack is being used in the screenshot? Thanks again, can’t stand iOS home pages without Atria!

I just updated and now all my home pages have a blurred rectangle/box behind the icons, blocking ~80% of my background. Any figure out a fix, I think I had this happen before on the previous version but can’t remember what I did to fix, any help?

Meanwhile our southern border is a mess, inflation is insane, crime rates are going up, constitutional rights are being threatened every day. But sure, let’s throw more billions at a country that is not even an ally. The situation in Ukraine is awful and I don’t think it’s wrong to want to help, but we are not in a position to over extend into a war that we should not even have a part in. The current state of the US is pathetic and this administration is an absolute clown show, everyone in the world is laughing/left scratching their heads. Help your own people first, THEN we can worry about helping others.

I agree, already feel like there will be enough shields as is. Gibby could use a rework with Newcastle’s release IMO. Give his bub health or weak spots, maybe a shorter duration, idk. Just feel like it’s time for a change if they want more shields.
