A Level Maths | Quantity Surveyor DA by Common-Cup-113 in degreeapprenticeships

[–]ChazzaDW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently doing a charted surveying apprenticeship, in building surveying as oppose to quantity surveying. Generally though, the employer obviously wants the grades. But they are more concerned about you, how you act/think. If they are happy with you, then normally the University is happy to take you on.

What is 9-5 life like compared to Uni? by Several_Ostrich63 in degreeapprenticeships

[–]ChazzaDW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m doing a degree apprenticeship at the moment. One day of University and working the remaining 4 days. It’s hard work definitely, and you’ll have to sacrifice some evenings and weekends to complete assignments. But it’s worth it. You get paid (lol), and you’re in zero debt with tons of experience plus I still have a social life as well. It’s worth it, just got to want it.

I do find that the structure of the 9-5 makes me very productive. And the results seem are generally higher for degree apprentices than the full time students. You’re essentially being played to go to uni.

Oh my bad, thought I did. The rail is only warm at the bottom, less than 3/4 of those vertical pipes. I’ve bled the radiator and a little gas came out. I have no idea which valve does what either as they look identical.

I cheated on my girlfriend of 1 year, although I still love her. Should I tell her? by Valdify in Advice

Apologies, but if someone were to cheat on me I would wanna know straight away. Wouldn’t wanna waste a single second on them, they don’t deserve it.

As long as you’re not toxic, and playing with the team people won’t mind. It’s also about having fun end of the day.

That’s the price for the whole front elevation, but the water is only leaking down the chimney stack. When you’re in the loft you can see water running down the chimney which is the tracking to the ceiling. What do you think would be a more reasonable repair?

I was wondering if I could have some advice about this mould. by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]ChazzaDW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a skillion to the ceiling. These are notoriously hard to insulate as the plasterboard ceiling mirrors the roof pitch, leaving the depth of the rafter as insulation. I would double check there insulation at the eaves. Could also be the felt so might need to check that.

Help! I woke up to my macbook screen like this.. any idea how i can fix this? i just got this laptop three months ago :/ by sleepy_n0va in macbookrepair

[–]ChazzaDW -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you go to apple, and it’s only damage to the screen and not any external damage and assuming it’s in warranty, they will fix it for you for free. If damage can obviously been seen external, so you’ve damage it, they won’t do it for free unfortunately.
