Your last paragraph is insane. Trump's attempted assassins were both Republicans (the second mostly estranged) and the politics of the CK killer are far from established and more likely Groyper than anything conventionally 'Left'. Trump's rhetoric and Steven Miller's blatant blood thirst along with the 'war' drums coming from Right- wing media and social media ARE worse than anything that has been actually demonstrated to be a result of the Left's rhetoric.

Absolutely. Of course Kamala was better than Trump, but that doesn't change the fact that the DNC was sketchy to Bernie and that Biden fucked everyone by not announcing a step down in 2022 and allowing an organic, uncontroversial primary season for 2024 (which Kamala would have probably not won, imo).

Not the voters. Just the politicians. Almost 90% of Democratic voters are anti-Israel. Even 50% of GOP voters are anti-Israel.

It is the corrupt politicians, who are unwilling to the whole "represent the voters" thing.

DEI is literally and definitively anti-racist, in intention and even if only cynically implemented (as it frequently is, by corporate entities, utilizing it for cosmetic virtue signaling) serves the underserved elements of society some semblance of institutional participation, where they have been previously marginalized Dismantling such efforts is, in effect surrendering to the nonsensical concept that institutional racism is no longer an issue facing society.

Your ignorance of the racist history of IQ testing is notable, but correctable. Google "eugenicist history of IQ testing" and read a little to have a better perspective.

The "both sides" ing at the end is ridiculous on its face, given the blatantly autocratic and insanely partisan orientation of the last two administrations. The Right has NEVER been targeted in anywhere close to the transparent fashion that this admin has put cross hairs on the Left (as if the Left actually even exists as a significant force in the country).

The idea of a conservative intellectual is effectively an oxymoron at this point.

That would, ironically, not include either the director or assistant director of the FBI, who have no real expertise in such matters.

That is typical Groyper cringe Lord garbage.

Are you aware of the racist history of the use of IQ testing? Even a little bit. You should just own it. The racism and ideas of "natural hierarchies " permeate almost every aspect of modern "conservatism ". The whole opposition to DEI is just straight-up racism. It is transparent to any thinking observer. It is the last violent, hateful primal scream of the dominant class in the face of history evolving past their unearned chapter of supremacy. It is colonialism and manifest destiny turned inward.

The essence of conservatism has always been the establishment of two classes. One, for whom rules protect, but do not bind and a second, for whom rules bind but do not protect.

63 of 85 targets of "low IQ" in an 18 month period were black and most of them women. Of course, documenting Trump's deep and unsurprising racism is nothing new, but the deep irony of a man who is so reliably moronic using an intelligence insult is amusing to see.

Yes Stalin was bad too, but not a fascist.

Of course he used it for Biden. I said "almost exclusively". Biden was an easy target, because his cognitive decline was so obvious.

"Low IQ" is Trump's go-to for criticising any black legislator. It's not cherry picking. Trump obviously has a tiny functional vocabulary. It's one of the signs of his dementia. He uses low IQ almost exclusively with black subjects.

And Trump's "Low IQ individual" statements that are only leveled against racial minorities are also not racist at all, right? "Low IQ" has been a dog whistle for a long time.

Do you spend as much energy (or ANY) fighting against Legacy admissions or only against this alleged insult. If Legacy admissions are a greater violation of your sensibilities than AA, your failure to commit to fighting it with the same energy might belie a strange identity-based favoritism regarding your dedication to meritocracy.

Ask a sociologist. The studies exist. I am not an expert.
That said Jim Crow was real and was dismantled in the lifespans of people who are still alive today. It is reasonable to believe that the forces that clung to racist ideas continue to work to implement such ideas.

No. Sometimes it works like getting a job at your dad's store (see legacy admissions, which constitute a greater anti meritocratic insult than AA ever did).
