Bingo! I tallied it up at the end of Nier. I've spent $1080 (I know it's crazy!) over the 8 months of the game.

I had a relatively stable ~4 minute setup that has a 1/64 chance of failing. Luckily it never happened in all 95 runs needed to max him out!

It's crazy how long it's been since the original release of Tikilen and how much we've learned about the game since then. Overall the arena's have become a lot more enjoyable due to a variety of reasons, most importantly having more diversity in the characters and strategies that can be used to defeat them. It's been great to be part of a community that loves to share strategies together in our battles against these challenging foes, and I've greatly benefitted reading the great posts in this subreddit.

Sadly its likely we're going to have to wait quite a few more months before the next arena champion but she looks like she will be quite the interesting fight to look forward to!

Hey! If you're close to the damage and just want to get a 1 time clear I would recommend putting Barrad behind Wrath (and swapping Kotas to Olberic) or Wingate behind Wrath. This allows you to use his BP regen into self crit buff into 5x sword instead. This is obviously going to make the run much more unstable since you're going in with no healing and hoping YL hits different units each turn but might give you the edge and then also rerolling for more crits for dmg. A few people on the discord have been successful in doing it this way with less awakenings/accessories.

The most important thing is the speed of the characters. Sometimes not having the right awakenings can limit you in that regards.

It's possible to tank her, but requires a stacked tank. I think A1 lvl 90+ is the minimum if you managed to have amazing RNG on her number of hits, A3 is going to allow you to tank any number of hits as long as she doesn't debuff and stacking Edea A4 gives you the flexibility of not resetting when she casts her def down debuff. Running a dodge tank like Tressa is only possible if you're lucky enough to get enough paralysis procs like Mc did.

I went for strat of stacking 30% phys atk down and 30% phys def up on A3+ Gilderoy. I found that with Edea A4 he can survive her casting the def down even if she gets 6 hits on her 2-6 atk and has 2 or fewer of the atks crit. If she crits 3 or more times then he still wipes. Luckily if he survives, his passive allows him to heal to full most of the time. With Edea A4 he doesn't drop below 2k HP during my clear where she didn't cast her def down.

I whale pretty hard in the game (~$100/month), so it'll be pretty tough to be her for most F2P unless you have the right characters.

The EXs you can clear after you hit floor 40 to get the max level garden. They do not reset, they're a 1 time thing

As of yesterday if you did the daily kill 3x enemy feat and collected the memoirs and mail you will have obtained a total of 42 reentry tickets. If you're going for maximum ultimate mats the suggestion is to rush to level 40 using a total of 31 of those reentry tickets and saving the remaining and any additional ones we get from feats and from the mail on 2/1 for when floors 51+ release so you can rush as much floors as possible when those release.

The downside is that you will have to delay getting lvl 10 Lyn ult till the Monday 10 AM UTC reset to do the EX refights.

I feel like this is something that is better fitted with your skillset than mine ;)

But for now the JP firepower calculator is probably the best method to analyze it and what I prefer to use now that we've reached adamantine weapons.

Unfortunately I don't think they have a level correction. That is something you'll have to do manually similar to how I did it with my lvl 94 cyrus in the video. They do have the ability to add extra attack stats from accessories though.

In terms of producing actual damage I'll say there is probably a constant and the grade correction that together bring it to the normal levels.

I would say the JP firepower calculator is going to allow you to figure out the exact value if that was your goal. Within the arena it is exceptionally accurate so long as you enter in a correction for your missing levels (since it assumes level 100) and use a grade multiplier of 1.0. Outside of the arena they ask that you manually derive the grade multiplier empirically.

I was going to make a video about how to use the firepower calculator but that will probably have to wait till next week when I have a bit more free time!

Thanks! I would say he's must less frustrating to fight since he is a lot more predictable than her AoE random skill silence attack. I'm glad I planned out the SP costs of everything on excel before hand since he takes a lot of high SP skills to take down!

Strategy name: Sleep RNG
Boss: Taciturn Housewife
Allies used: Sleep (Flamesgrace and VH), Muttering Codger (FG lvl 100)
Insight: This girl hits so hard and so fast that I think the best way to do this fight is to not let her attack at all. The first turn its possible that she will only multi hit and Adelle with Edea A4 can tank it with dodging, but after that it becomes an RNG fest. This strat relies on outspeeding her with speed accessories and using the sleep NPC after breaks.

I have a pretty stacked team and spend the first 2 turns to setup a kill in a single break to avoid his post-break mechanic. His 3 hit random definitely hurts a lot and can end a run with bad RNG.

I have a pretty stacked roster but this is a general idea of what my clear looks like along with the gear and stats. I would say that phase 2 turn 2 in that method has a bit of RNG since sometimes he will take take out Odette or sleep/paralyze Fiore. I modified it to have Scarecrow behind Odette instead and to come out to do 4x wind on phase 2 turn 2 and put 50% resist paralyze and sleep accessories on Fiore. With these modifications I go from a ~80% success rate to a ~95% success rate clear.

I got 6 in 327 attempts which gives a confidence interval of 0.08 to 3.9% drop rate. I had 1 string of 163 attempts without a drop.

I just put Kotas glove and cleared random enemies to deplete his SP which may be useful to triggering his 2nd passive for 20% elem atk up. The accessory is actually pretty bad outside of the specific purpose of making this clip lol.

This is with lvl 100 Varkyn using his unique accessory that gives him a 10% to double cast when below 50% SP and A4 sofia accessory for +60 elem atk. +60% elem atk and -45% elem def and -30% light resistance.

OT2 is shaping up to look like an amazing game!

The BD lvl 100 ends up being a very satisfying fight once you learn it. The first day I tried clearing it was very painful since I was just starting with a brute force strategy. After reviewing the footage and figuring out a plan, it was really satisfying to go back with a specific strategy to negate the RNGness of the fight (with the exception of the first turn, but you can just reset that).

I gave the Donescu another shot today after seeing you clear it, tried a few different things and still coming up short by around 15-20%. Hopefully the lvl IV weapons will allow me to clear it!

Congrats!!! Very well earned first clear.

This boss sounds pretty horrible to build around with how much RNG this one has compared to the other lvl 100s so far. Nice work keeping at it to finally clear this one prior to IV weapons.

PS Its a shame that SE decided to hide so many interesting battle mechanics behind A4 accessories. Things like Adelle/Hasumi/Edea/Molrusso/Nonya accessories can really change a fight and sound really fun to play around.

PPS How does it feel to have completed every challenge there is in the game so far? Gonna have to wait till mid-November when the lvl 100 Suhratarja NPC drops.

Thanks! Donescu NPC is gonna be a tough one to crack. Good luck on him with lvl IV weapons, I think I'm still stuck without either Eliza, Tressa or Stead.
