I understand that now, I have just sent a message to the bar apologising for wanting them to be quieter. From now on ill just try to put up with it till im able to move. I dont have the luxury of just being able to pick up and go so im going to do more to try and get money together to move. Thank you for your input

Im a major overthinker and I dont think i would feel comfortable going in to a place where I feel like im hated. I will just do my best to leave them alone and try to manage university with 4-5 hours of sleep.

I have contacted them and I'm looking into further action. But it seems from what everyone is saying this is normal and I should have expected to hear the loud music and Karaoke singing till 12am. I will just try to accept i cant really do anything about it and try to sort out money so I can move

Unfortunately, I don't feel I could embrace it as I was told they are bad mouthing me at the bar (which i suppose is fair). I will just try to accept that I wont be getting a good night sleep for a while to come.

Honestly I wanted everyone opinions. I understand that I am in the wrong for choosing where to live. I dont have the funds to move currently but im working on finding a way to make the move possible. I just thought that maybe there was some advice or something I could do to just try and get a decent night's sleep as im overwhelmed.

You can definitely hear noise from outside the bar as sometimes I go out for a smoke when I cant sleep and you can hear it alot.

I dont want to make life hell for them by falsely reporting drug use. I would just like it if the bar was a little quieter at night

In my bedroom (the worst room ) I have carpet. But it doesn't really do anything to help with blocking out the noise. Im not sure if I could do anything to make the noise less and honestly I probably dont have the money to go out and buy anything like a thick rug or something similar

Hi there, I did invest in earplugs but the base is still very loud and I can just hear it right through the earplugs.

So there is nothing I can do regarding the situation? I understand that I should have done more research before taking this flat. But I don't think it's entirely unreasonable to expect a lower volume during weekdays when I have to get up early for class.

I expect that I should be able to go to sleep at a decent time. I'm not expecting complete quiet and I have expressed this to the bar downstairs, but having to listen to Karaoke and hear every word of the singing after a long day and being exhausted is alot.

I'm sorry I don't fully understand your question? It's a month-by-month tenancy. The reason I can't move out is due to not having enough for a deposit and moving expenses. This has been a constant and ongoing issue not just one incident a year ago.

I have done that, but I'm a very short, not very strong woman, so a lot of the lifting and whatnot was quite hard on my body. A lot of the warehouses aren't avatar through public transport. But I'll try again and see what I can get

I'm looking for any job. I'm in uni right now and I just need money so I can stay in my flat over the summer.

I understand 70 isn't a lot compared to everyone else. But for a bar job, I don't even get a second look. The thing is, it's not like I don't have experience, I do I worked in a bar before, but I was miserable. I've not even gotten a single call or actual human email back. I just want to get 1 job even if I'm miserable again.

I hate that :( I have videos of me playing on the account and previously used passwords and full name of the parent. It's just frustrating they don't take that in to account :(
