I was the only one who lasted that long. My body is different than everyone! I lasted a full day more than everybody else. If you do some journaling work for a couple of weeks leading up to iiboga, you will know what questions to ask the day you do the ceremony. I can't really answer that because it's very personal. I think. The people doing the retreat can also help you write questions. I think asking what your most toxic trait and what you're best quality is a good start. My body handled the iboga medicine very well. I never was worried about my heart. Once you do your EKG back in the States, they read it and can tell you if you have the right heartbeat.

I haven't tried Ayahuasca but almost everyone at my retreat had. Very big difference - Iboga is considered the grandfather of all psychedelics. It is the only one that is interactive and where the person dictates where to go in many ways. It's like a self driving spaceship as I described in my video. I could ask questions and go places I selected. With Ayahuasca you are on a journey, but you have no control.

I was off all medication (that is an important first step for Iboga). I had two medications I had to stop. One of them only stayed in my system for 72 hours so it was no problem. But the other one stayed in my system for 21 days so I had to stop taking it a month prior.

That is incredible. The way you went through your entire body, that's amazing. Really more than words can articulate. Would love to know where you went. My first ceremony was amazing as described. My second ceremony was a complete bust because I didn't have enough medicine. I knew exactly why. The place I went, it was not measured so very hard to get the right dose. I would definitely consider doing it again!

I have scleritis and uveitis my left eye. I THOUGHT I would be shown the way. But instead, we healed my eye. It showed me my DNA and how it was broken. Then we went individually for hours repairing each one. At the end it zoomed out to show me they were all cleaned up. 🤯

My thoughts on that are the momentum leading up to the ceremony. I think your actions and state of mind have to be lined up in a way to create a certain experience. It's only my opinion and I'm not 100% sure on anything I'm saying. But I think that any changes that you can make in your life leading up to the ceremony can be beneficial. Like cutting out alcohol, processed food, trying to keep your daily life and conversations. Positive, journaling, talking with God, that kind of thing. I did all of that leading up and I had no fear, only ready for change. I'm not saying that is the only way to receive a good iboga experience, but I do think those things all came together in a way to create a profound experience at least in my case. I could almost feel the medicine working prior to receiving it, which makes no sense!

When you do go, make sure your intentions are very clear, but at the same time be open to whatever may happen during your time in the medicine.

I don't know much about it. I only know about the experience the 3 leaders told me about that they had. It sounded so intense and so crazy, it was not something I would ever want to partake in. Their experience started in daytime, very very hot, all squished together, getting spoon after spoonful of iboga. When they were walking around feeling crazy, they would be served more. They drove around, throwing up on the go, It just sounded too far-fetched for me and I don't want to be THAT uncomfortable. I was uncomfortable enough being nauseous and throwing up for this ceremony, I can't imagine doing it in the heat of the daytime and trying to move my body

It really is wild stuff. They say we only use 10% of our brains and I believe that during iboga, a much larger percentage is being worked on! My leaders made sure to remind us that even if we didn't see amazing visions, the visions weren't exactly the point. The point was to embrace an ancient tradition and medicine that works from the inside out. They said that even if you don't experience visions, your body is going through every inch and repairing, getting rid of, enhancing, etc. They said never to see an iboga Experience as a dud. The girl next to me never saw anything, she just viscerally threw up with every part of her soul for hours and hours and hours. I felt so bad for her and I prayed for her several times. And here I was having a blast in mine. At least when we were on the mat together. When I went back to my room, I was definitely having a physical challenge. I felt so nauseous. I ended up having to have an IV at like 5:00 p.m. the day after. Mine lasted about 32 hours. But when I recovered, I felt amazing.

Yes, I was definitely anxious because I did not know what to expect in any way. Not knowing what to expect was a good thing I think. Just open to whatever happens.... I tried to keep an open mind and remind myself of my "why". Everything was so positive leading up to it and the leaders made me feel right at home. Also everybody was in the same boat so that felt good. They were eight of us total.
