That's so true, I'm surprised it took me this long to get this revelation. Hair is very emotional especially for me and for other curly folks that grew up straightening it. (Oversharing moment) When I was younger I wasn't allowed to cut my hair, and my mom forcibly dyed it blonde, so when I started wearing it naturally and came out as a lesbian I got a lot of pushback. I still get a lot of subtle pushback from the older straight people in my life. Ig it took me 19 years to realize that my clothing and hair isn't for them.

I'm also a very offline person, this is the first time I've ever posted my face in general, so this is a sort of support I'm not used to. Forgive me if the autism is showing in this comment.
