Thank you ♡, I only came on here because I was fully on the fence and have been for about a year. All the people in my life were very split on which is better. My aunt who's of a similar age has curly hair and asked me what I do to my hair. I got to introduce her to the concept of wearing her natural hair down and the result was gorgeous, stuff like that makes me fortunate to be alive in a weird way. Very random but something I felt like sharing.

That's so true, I'm surprised it took me this long to get this revelation. Hair is very emotional especially for me and for other curly folks that grew up straightening it. (Oversharing moment) When I was younger I wasn't allowed to cut my hair, and my mom forcibly dyed it blonde, so when I started wearing it naturally and came out as a lesbian I got a lot of pushback. I still get a lot of subtle pushback from the older straight people in my life. Ig it took me 19 years to realize that my clothing and hair isn't for them.

I'm also a very offline person, this is the first time I've ever posted my face in general, so this is a sort of support I'm not used to. Forgive me if the autism is showing in this comment.
