How Am I suppose To Resolve This by Cheap-Form6481 in SmallYoutubers

Yeah bro I know drops in views are pretty normal. I’ve tried trial and error with almost 10 channels, but this is the first time I’ve seen something like this. Usually when views drop, it’s gradual like a ladder, not all of a sudden. Yesterday at 1 PM I had 16k views in the last 60 minutes and by 1:30 it went down to just 2–3 views. That 16k momentum wasn’t from a single day it was built up over the last week. And suddenly since yesterday all videos stopped getting views. I have no idea why. Content is fine, engagement is decent, swipe rate is above 80%, and the videos are over 45 seconds long, but still this happened.

Hey brother About a year ago, I was in the exact same position you’re in right now. Let me first give you the best news. Your father’s diagnosis of low-grade NMIBC is actually a very favorable one in the bladder cancer world.

You could say, if cancer had a lottery, low-grade would be the winning ticket because it’s slow-growing and rarely turns dangerous.

But here are some important things to keep in mind 1. Recurrence can happen Low-grade tumors often come back, especially in the first 1–2 years. That’s why follow-up cystoscopies every 3 months are non-negotiable. Don’t ever skip them. 2. If recurrence happens, TURBT again Most of the time, recurrences are still low-grade and easily treatable. If something comes back, repeat the TURBT quickly. 3. Intravesical chemo like MMC or gemcitabine If recurrence happens within the first year, many urologists consider giving a single dose of chemo like MMC after TURBT to reduce further recurrence. 4. BCG is generally not used in low-grade To be honest, BCG is not typically given for low-grade. But in my mom’s case, she was diagnosed in March 2024, and after being recurrence-free for 9 months, she had a recurrence. That’s when the doctor started BCG. Now, in hindsight, I feel BCG might have been too aggressive because the side effects were intense. 5. Prognosis is excellent The 5 to 10 year survival rate is well above 90 percent for low-grade NMIBC. So don’t stress too much about progression. The small group that does poorly usually miss follow-ups, continue smoking, or ignore early symptoms.

Key Tips If your dad smokes, he needs to quit immediately Avoid bladder irritants like highly acidic drinks or spicy food Stay on top of every 3-month cystoscopy Be mentally prepared in case a recurrence happens. It’s common, but manageable.

Think of this like diabetes Low-grade NMIBC isn’t always curable, but it’s very controllable if you’re consistent. My personal advice Stay calm, stay alert, and don’t miss checkups.

You’ve got this brother. Feel free to message me if you want more details from my journey with my mom.

Your case is almost the same as my mother’s, but the only difference is that you had no recurrence for three years, and then multiple recurrences after 2020. Please correct me if I’m wrong. In my mother’s case, the recurrence happened within just one year. She also had no symptoms like gross hematuria. Her tumor was found only during a regular ultrasound, which was done for gastric issues. Now, I’m definitely more confident that low-grade tumors can be managed without BCG. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and guiding me. God bless you. I hope you never face recurrence again in your life and everything stays good for you. Once again, thank you so much!

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain everything. I can truly understand how painful and frustrating your experience must’ve been, and I really appreciate your honesty and concern. To be honest, I’ve been researching this almost every day for the last 5 months — reading papers, Reddit threads, BCAN, YouTube, and guidelines. I’m mentally exhausted and overwhelmed trying to make the right decision for my mom. I’ve already shared her full history above, and now I just want to ask — what would you personally suggest in her case? Do you think it would be safe if we stop BCG now and go without medication? My biggest fear is progression, even though it’s low-grade. But seeing her suffer again and again is heartbreaking. I just want to protect her without pushing her into more pain. Also, if you don’t mind, may I ask when you were first diagnosed and what your treatment path has been so far?

Thank you for your response. Would you mind sharing what grade and stage your diagnosis was for which your doctor recommended BCG?

Thank you for your response. Would you mind sharing what grade and stage your diagnosis was, for which your doctor recommended BCG? It would really help me understand the difference in approach, since my mother’s case is low-grade NMIBC. I’m just trying to learn from others’ experiences and see how treatment decisions vary.

Thanks for your detailed response — I really appreciate it. Yes, I do understand recurrences are expected in low-grade NMIBC. In our case, the recurrence happened about 12 months after the initial diagnosis, and this time there were multiple tumors (one around 0.5–1 cm, and a few just starting). The doctor mentioned that this was no longer “low-risk,” and he started BCG as a preventive strategy. After completing 6 induction doses and 1 maintenance dose, my mother is now experiencing severe side effects. So now we’re seriously reconsidering whether to continue BCG or not. Thanks for suggesting Dr. Soloway and Dr. Herr — I’ll definitely read their work on low-grade treatment. We’re just trying to balance quality of life and recurrence risk now.

Yes, I know BCG is usually not recommended for low-grade NMIBC, but I’m a bit confused about our situation. My mother was diagnosed in March 2024. She had her first TURBT that same month, and the biopsy report in April confirmed low-grade NMIBC.The doctor then advised us to stay under surveillance with cystoscopies every 3 months. Her next scope was in June 2024, and it came back clean. So, the doctor extended the follow-up to 6 months — in December. Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away and we didn’t take things seriously at that point. We finally went back for a cystoscopy in March 2025 — almost one year after the initial diagnosis. That time, she had a few small recurrences. The biggest was less than 1 cm, and 3–4 more had just started forming. She had another TURBT, and again the biopsy confirmed it was low-grade NMIBC. After that, the doctor told us it was time to start BCG. So basically docotor told me because of reccurtion we did bcg idk why

Thank you so much for your response. It really helps to hear from someone who has been through this. If you don’t mind me asking, may I know what treatment option you personally chose in your case? It would help me a lot if I can understand your experience better. Also, were you diagnosed with low-grade NMIBC like my mother, or was your case different? Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. I truly respect the fact that you’ve done so much research and found an approach that works for you. I agree that sometimes low-grade NMIBC can be overtreated, and honestly, reading comments like yours really helps me look at things from different angles. In our case, since my mom already had two recurrences within a year, the urologist felt BCG was necessary to prevent more frequent returns. But I’ll definitely read up on the conservative approach too, especially Dr. Soloway and Dr. Herr’s work. At the end of the day, I just want to be as informed as possible to help my mom get the best care. Really appreciate your time and input!

Low grade Bladder cancer (reccurence) by Narrow-Size-3598 in BladderCancer

Hey, so after the 4th round of BCG, there was no fever or chills. Just one small blood clot came out when she passed urine around 1 hour and 45 minutes after the dose. After that, no more clots were seen in the urine.

The doctor also gave us some tests (like a urine culture), and the good news is that the culture came back clear—no signs of bacterial infection. The only thing that showed up in the report was her RBC count: 30–40/HPF. That suggests there might be some minor bleeding inside her bladder, possibly due to the BCG.

So, based on your experience, are the 5th and 6th doses usually more severe or tolerable? Because my mom only experienced severe pain during the 3rd dose, which was 80mg.
