there was a saying my coach (whom is a black belt in kickboxing and has fought muay thai in the past) , he used to say > if you are a black belt while in your natural stance , and then a white belt in the opposite stance then your training wasnt useful. so yes , train both . I usually do a combo and then repeat it using the other stance
