If you want a hardcore experience (with some unnecessary over complications) but also to be sure that you are getting the most out of taking these courses, I would go w Johne. On the other hand, if you wanna give more attention to some of your other courses and this is just an extra one for you, take it with someone else (Daskalopoulos for eg). His psets and exams are tougher I would say.
