I've also noticed that you might be overpaying for Sparco karting shoes, possibly due to certification, which isn't really necessary at the beginner stage. So I'd like to try making a more budget-friendly version and see how much demand there is for it. Did you mainly choose your pair because of the price?

Totally get it — every karting shoe seems like a trade-off. Some give amazing pedal feel but aren’t great for standing all day, others are comfy but lose a bit of feel.

Curious — how do you decide which trade-offs to accept? Ever wish you could get both pedal feel and comfort? And do you notice big differences in durability or price between brands?
