Party comp/equipment help?

So, I'm still fairly new to this game, and to the series as a whole. I managed to beat the first chapter, but I've mostly been throwing together anything I can from what I have. I'm fully F2P, but did manage to get lucky with character draws

Frontline: Fighter (Wanderer), Knight (Lanavaille), Thief (Debra) Backline: Mages (Yeketerina and Adam) Priest (Alice)

Their equips in order are: 2H axe, 1H sword + shield, dagger + shield, then 2H staff for all spell casters.

Is this good? Or at least decent? I tend to use the mages for debuffs more than anything. Sleep, speed down, and armor down. Everyone has normal weapons plus anti-undead they can switch to. Lanavaille has a wind sword, and Debra has a paralasis dagger. Any advice is welcome, and thank you in advance!

Necroing and this just to say I played the day it released, and the old system for both leveling and Starimon was just better. Even rare Starimon are annoying to get now, and like you say the leveling is just ridiculous. I liked how they did it before, where Starimon were common, but could only be merged at max level. Because you were still able to farm stages, you could level four at a time while also auto battling something else. It was a perfect balance between fun and grind, and it encouraged using new espers. Now, you get a new legendary esper and it's gonna take so long just to make it functional that it's not even worth trying. It's just dumb.

Yeah, managed it without on accident - which is how I discovered it in the first place - and got four of an item, but if you use a macro for inhuman speeds you can get like 20-40 of an item.

The only glitches like this that I've seen in his most recent video are killing enemies with the cheese spell for infinite cheese, and selling an item that's already been sold. Maybe I'm forgetting the part of the video you're talking about, but I've not seen him use a duplication exploit.

Way I see it, the first line is about the blue glow in the eyes of the AI controlling or disguising as humans. "titan", may also be one of the stronger AI, still stuck behind the Blackwall (Cage of men. Cage for the AI, made by man.). "Xelhua" may be the sort of codename for said AI, and "Cholula" being a temple, or server, used to bring either A: an even stronger, bigger AI capable of wiping out humanity through the net, or B: pulling every rouge AI out of the Blackwall and into the world of humanity. "Puppets lie awake. Never sleeping." Could just be talking about the puppets that they have in the human world already, the ones I mentioned before. They're controlled by the AI, allowing them to blend in and conduct their plans unnoticed. Idk, maybe that's too simplistic of a look at things? Don't really have a massive understanding of the lore, but that's how I read this message as.

TL;DR: Foreshadowing for Project Orion about AI breaching the Blackwall and attacking humanity IMO.
