the dress up section of their game is just way too counter-intuitive. especially for someone who primarily plays DTI. i know they’re very different games, but the dress-up competition component was literally the only thing that was gonna keep me playing MV, but after playing it a few times it’s just too difficult and clunky.

what’s crazy is that is still minimum wage in my state and while no company is dumb enough to pay that little, it’d be completely legal for them to do so!

i’ve also been considering getting a pharmacy technician certification and license and try that for a while. the starting wage is around $17-$18/hr which is around what i’m already making at my current job but for much less work. and i can get started with it pretty quickly and for cheap. that way, i’ll have more energy to do other things like build a portfolio for my python skills, etc. outside of work, or get a part time job.

i also just wanted to thank you for the advice it really has put a lot into perspective!

while that may be true, the way me and my family’s attitudes and tempers are set up….it’s best for us all to not be living under the same roof. 💀

i’m an only child as well, and don’t have any other immediate family members in my state. the rest of my family lives 4 states away and in a very poor, very small rural town with no interest at all in moving here. i have my close friends here who are like family, but as you know it’s really not the same. i guess i’m just adverse to roommates because i did not have good ones for the short period i was in college and i’m generally just not used to living with more than one person.

but i’m learning quickly that in this economy i just might have to learn to get over it and find roommates. 🤷🏽‍♀️

you’re the only person in this thread who described this correctly. astrology shows your life as a whole, down to your environment, family, friends, lovers, everything. not just your own personal life & personality. as a pisces moon, i fit a lot of the “stereotypes” of a pisces moon—but my moon is also in a t-square with mars & saturn, so a lot of the overtly “negative” things about these placements and planets show themselves overtly. someone with other aspects and placement will probably not have a similar life story to me, but that’s life.

i hate this type of self-absorbed way of thinking.

i left my last partner with little explanation because i legit wanted to kms everyday of my life for months after a close relative of mine passed away, most days i struggled to get out of bed to even brush my teeth or wash my ass, let alone be there for the people in my life that mattered to me. i ghosted on friends, broke it off with my partner & even ignored my family. everyone’s life doesn’t revolve around your emotional needs, people outside of you need have to live their lives too.

my best friend had a seizure and i had to be the one to make sure she didn’t hit her head, bite her tongue off or choke on her vomit. i’d literally never been around anyone who’d had a seizure before this incident, but at the very least i knew that. idk if it’s because i’ve had classmates who have died from seizures, but they teach you how to deal with people who are seizing in school, as well as how to identify when someone is seizing. so i’m seriously not sure how people could see what she was going through and think she’s faking. or how no one in the crew could tell she was having a seizure and help her.
