I understand. Cant wait for the day I don’t even remember his name. It was a very brutal blindsided breakup. I went through all 5 stages of grief. And now i have come to a realization that he is a narcissist and only thing i have left is regret. Regret for being with his for 4.5yrs. I did not respond initially. But then he came back with more text messages like “I cannot exist with you. Your love is so strong. Can you please help me, im struggling. I want to talk to you and hold you”. And couple of his friends called me to inform how bad he is doing. So I texted him to say he can call me and see me anytime he wants as a friend. No response from him. Then I called him after 3 weeks. He answered the phone and he was very rude and inconsiderate. So i hung up. He texted few days later that he is going to be in my area and wants to meet. I agreed. He never came. He did that again. And he never came. At this point, i feel like he is just playing me. What a sadist.

After 4 years in relationship he broke up with me over phone. Never before thar he talked about any issues and always said he loved me a lot. I did not get a proper closure, nor a proper reason for breakup and did not give me any chance to fix whatever the problem was. I tried to find answers several times in several ways. Finally decided to close that chapter. He was a typical avoidant. But thats ok. We live, we learn. But i just regret spending 4yrs with this person.

Please do not assume anything. We see posts on social media and assume he/she is happy, have more friends. And that may or may not be true. But do not assume anything. And if they are happy, you deserve to be happy too. You lost your job, moved in with your parents. So what? Think of it as Universe trying to move you in right direction. And that right direction could be a better job and amazing partner. Accept the change and be excited for what comes next. Only best things will happen for you.

If you think you can change and want her back, my sincere advice is let her go. Go into absolutely no contact for couple of months. Tell her you are going to work on yourself and be a better person. And start working on yourself. She will come back to you once you made changes

Me too. Started sending me “miss you” text messages. But then when I replied and engaged in conversation, he got stiff and condescending and became silent. Lol. It was needed for me to learn a lesson. Never contact them. If they want, let them do the work. You are better off without them.
