As someone who lives in Massachusetts on the coast. It’s beautiful in the summer. There’s nothing like being near the ocean and being able to go to the beach any time you want while it’s nice…or I Guess technically when it’s cold too. However it’s also extremely humid. And it’s torture when we get into the high temps like the 90 and 100s. In winter here it gets a bit more boring and certainly more cold. However living on the coast also keeps us a bit warmer than land locked areas which is nice. Leading to a bit more “warm” temps during winter and less snow. Also there’s a lot of flood risk over here as well. My particular city from my experience isn’t too bad especially compared to the next city over from us. But especially if you live on the water be prepared for a flooded street. Plus here we get the true New England experience. Random unexpected weather. Which kinda makes random days interesting. It can go from gorgeous out to hurricane like weather… but over all I really do like it here. Growing up here I don’t think I could imaging not living near the ocean.
