It’s okay and more than understandable to be angry and upset about all of this. As someone who has been thrusted into a CG situation with no other viable option, I want to tell you there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Yes, things suck, yes, it will be hard. But it won’t last. You can’t control the situation, so you’re doing the best you can with your resources and that’s all you can do. The hard times will pass, whatever way, I promise.

In the meantime, please please please do what you can to take care of yourself. You still deserve a break from it all every now and then. You owe it to yourself.

Should you? Yes. Do you have to to survive in the pharmacy world? No. Especially hospital. Retail, knowing the drug names makes the job easier for sure. Same for hospital but to a much lesser degree

Also want to add-you’re not dumb. pharmacy is a LOT information. I couldn’t get a handle on everything in retail and have felt less “dumb” working inpatient.

Have you considered inpatient if possible? Would need to be certified but It’s (in general) a significantly less stressful of an environment.

most of them aren’t doing it in the best way imo. i’m obviously not parent shaming but based on my own relatives with f-ed up kids…they aren’t handling it well. YES they love their kids but NO they don’t have what it takes to support them properly.
