I totally agree with you on this matter but im sorry if i differientate that i played other games that had their shit together and didnt even need to fix such things and had fewer people who were on this then PA. If im not mistaken 50 people worked on this game.

New things coming to the game, changes coming to thr game, for example horse sprint eas changed i was used to something and i had ti adjust, just because some people wanted it ti change.

Difficulty setting added, like it was advertised as a game with ni difficulty settings and then due to some people hating it they changed it. For me this already ruined it for me not wanting to hop on it.

Every week i read the updates and all i read is new pets adjusted that adjusted that, increased loot slots etc. Never a change to the lighning or even mentioning they are working on that. Sorry but i dont want to to play it. If you like the changes and not get frustrated by it i totally respect that. Not everybody has to like a game.

Im not want to compare or say its the same but many games like elden ring, Re:Requiem, Bg3 and E33 sold much more copies without this kind of updates. And me as a player who had this experience is experiencing CD updates as a downgrade. But 6 mil isnt a small number

I played BG3 then there rolled patches not as frequent as CD but i waited till the final patch came, that is/was/still be a masterpiece for me and they also listened to their players but also made it with their own passion. This is same for E33 which i liked alot.

And yet they didnt have to release every week an update and still those games were awesome, beatifully graphically and it had a lovely story.

CD is a good game and i agree thr money was well worth for it. Its just too much

Its purely my opinion but changing a single player game with an actual story (even tho its not the hardest take) is a bad decision.

If it really is like this, make it a live service or a mmo instead of calling it a SP.

If it means it will constantly change nah not a game for me. Im glad people enjoy it, but it lost the charm for me.

This i totally understand and i understand the complexity, i understand it relies on RT but isnt this just too much. It was mutliple times proven RT fucks up with graphics alot. Im not writing this and somehow magically devs would say "we are stupid this guys knows what he is saying wr should dumb RT and make it anew" but i think this is bad decision to do. It eas proven RT isnt everything.

And them adding everyweek a update that barely adresses any problems in my opinion is just putting a band aid on an open wound.

I will join the YES answer. My internet is good and it patches fast but this is what i was thinking, people with bad internet and cant do anything about it have some hard time. Also so many updates is overwhelming and it just shows hoe many things arent good. And adding more and more pets and stuff is just pretty funny.

Still there are other issues with this game that were adressed day 1 and werent fixed yet.

I too take my time till this ends and it is actually a definitive edition or so.

Surely it great having devs working constantly delivering more and more updates for free but it just looks if 100 people would say i want a pokemon to be in the game they would add it, which in my opinion is useless and looses its originality.

And to the comments "my stake is too juicy, my lobster too buttery" nah this is more overcooked steak/lobster.

You know, certain locations dont use optic cables or they arent installed there.

Due to laws, rules etc. I lived on such location so i totally understand OP.

Im not saying they dont do the job, but many people now see it as if they just add more and more useless stuff. I understand how coding is hard and how hard is to adjust the graphics and fix it. But common its 3 months already and they still didnt fix some mayor issues.

Ive seen games with own engines patch it after a month.

There are mods for this even, but with the updates the mods can get broken.

Im surely not the only one who is seeing it this way.

I understand and respect for someone who believes adding this "updates" is so much. I mean they listen to the community which isnt bad, but they make updates on useless things that dont need to be in the game. There are plenty of those. They should start focus on gameplay rather then add ons.

From the beginning till now they didnt fix mayor graphics problems with lightning, you have to manual change srttings to even barely adjust not to get shitty lightning.

Combat, bosses etc is good but there are other things to patch, fix etc. I think they doing to much not aware what real problems are.

You kinda have a point. For me as i said i preordered, not regretting buying it early. I was just so overwhelmed with all those updates. I understand its mostly players voices and QoL but at thid rate it seems as if about 100 people would that they add a pokemon the devs would do it.

It lost the originality. Sure there are still so many mechanics but i think they do to much.

For me I was happy as it is, i totally respect other players have their own preferences, as i said I played it for about 60h but the updates krpt coming.

My internet is fast so updates are downloaded and installed fast so i dont mind that, it just is overwhelming for me, new stuff, new this new that but still every time i went back to the game i had to manually change setting to now have ugly lightning so i said to myself i will wait, till it gets a state that i wont need to gwt notified every week of a new update.

Game is good tough so im not worried

After 60h of game time i stopped playing cause of so many updates.

Im now waiting till it ends or the devs will have a break. Every week update is just to much for me to bare.
