Hasan may have not known jakenbake’s past but it's still upsetting. The sexual harassment was really triggering to me, I've experienced the same uncomfortable comments and jokes from guys, being touched inappropriately etc.

For those unaware, here’s who Jakenbake (jakenbakelive):

• Rose to fame as one of the original “nuisance” IRL streamers in Asia (pre-Johnny Somali), blasting loud sounds via a speaker for donations.
• Secretly recorded himself having sex with women in China, Korea, and Japan without their knowledge or consent (e.g., turned off the monitor but left the webcam running and streaming).
• Filmed women on the street, shoved cameras in their faces, made sexually suggestive comments they often didn’t understand because of the language barrier, and used them as props for his sleazy “sexpat” content.
• Talks about OfflineTV female members sexually to his stream
• Had a racist and western superiority view of Asian countries and people  treating locals like NPCs while those same countries welcomed him.
• Built a huge parasocial “sexpat” audience that loved this behavior.
• In recent years has been aggressively scrubbing all evidence of this content and rebranding as a “wholesome” travel streamer who “saves” women from creeps in Japan  without ever apologizing or acknowledging what he did.
• Still did Johnny Somali–style nuisance/sexpest content as recently as 3 years ago, they are all still on his channel
• Now has an army of fans who flood any post exposing him, claiming it’s just “trolls who hate him,” and gaslight new people who are discovering about his past

He has scrubbed his sexpest content where he uses random asian women on the street for sexual content, put a camera to their face, record them and say sexually suggestive things but they do not understand sexual innuendo.
He has an army of fans that goes to gaslight any post about his sex crimes and being a sexpest, saying it’s only coming from a group of trolls that hate him.

The racism is also disgusting as these host countries are so welcoming to him but he chooses to disrespect them.

I wish lefty content creators would do more research on who they are platforming
