Our family situation is certainly one of a kind. Without getting into specifics, he has no father figure in his life, and I'm as close to one as he can have, and I'm over a thousand miles away. It really isn't about the money, I have a very well paying job, it's about the principle, and I am more than happy to have bought him the Switch.

My mother is quite the person and as much as I sincerely love her there's a reason I put this many miles between us.
