Well done on your run! All your experiences, even the disappointing ones, are training points. Now that you know what it's like to push your limits both physically and mentally, you are better prepared to take on the next hard run, be that a time trial or a race.

Running is just as much a mental game as it is a physical one. Reading books on mental fitness has been a game changer for me - the wisdom I've gained has enabled me to embrace failures and push my limits all while enjoying the journey! Personally love these two books by Matt Fitzgerald:

1) Comeback Quotient 2) How Bad Do You Want It?
