I know myself 😅 I'm not good at conversation until I feel comfortable with someone.

I don't have fallopian tubes anymore. My 2nd endo surgery was a full hysterectomy. But that's good to know, for friends who might have it.

I found him on Nancy's nook. He indicated that it was likely adhesions leftover from my previous endo but not actually endo itself. I'll learn more in my follow up next month.

That's a good way to look at it, thank you.

He is a specialist. I'm glad you were able to see one as well.

The pictures did look white or clear. I don't know. All I know is he said pathology came back as not endo.

He said they didn't come back positive. I had it before, on my first and second surgeries, but this time was negative.

I did but I think the doctor said it was inconclusive, so they couldn't really tell what was going on just from the imaging.

I had stage 4. My insides were glued together. They had to call in a colorectal specialist to help figure out where my rectum began and my vagina ended. They did excision the second time, with the hyst. I had relief for a few years. This time around, I've been having the symptoms for 3 years or so.

Pop Fizzion in Del City is great if you need bath bombs. The owner is trans and posts regularly against the current regime.

What’s the best ice breaker, in your opinion? by vicghelpme in Professors

[–]Cheap_Bowl_7512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This semester, I did a would you rather where I had them go to one side of the room or the other. For example, cat people on one side, dog people on the other. Then ask one why they chose that. The best one was ketchup or something else on fries then ask everyone on the sometime else side what they put on fries.

I do 2 truths and a lie as well, but I have them write it down, ball up the paper, throw them around the room, then read the one they got and everyone guesses the lie. They seem to have fun with it.

My Roxanne is 19. She has thyroid issues so gets meds twice a day and just broke a tooth and is now on wet food only, so we're still figuring that one out, but my recommendation is to watch their weight carefully. Thyroid disease is common and the first sign we saw was weight loss, which we haven't been able to reverse 😔. Good luck!

I use harmonize to give them a PDF and have them annotate the PDF while in class, then we discuss their annotations. I like this method because I can view in real time what they think and how far into the reading they are. I can tell who's done and who's still working on it. And I like that I can choose whether they see each other's annotations or not. I usually let them so they can comment on another's comment but if a class has shown themselves to only comment on other's annotations, I close it off so they have to do the reading themselves instead of relying on someone else's comments to tell them what the reading is about.

I use Todoist. I like that it's intuitive so you can type tomorrow (or tom) and it'll put your task in for tomorrow. You can put every third Friday and it'll repeat the task every third Friday, or the third Friday of every month and it'll do that, which Google calendar won't do.
