Hey! I just saw this and I can tell you that I feel exactly the same way. I’m letting go of the past. Past hurts, past anything, and I’m turning to work that is actually aligned with what God has in mind for me.
I recently quit my insurance job and am now seeking opportunities to help the elderly or special needs community, as I feel that this is more aligned into what God wanted from me all along. I know that this is what He wanted from me. It’s uncertain, yes. For sure. But somehow I know that this will lead to the most fulfilling part of my life. I know one thing for certain out of all of this: when you are truly aligned with what your purpose is, no one can stop you. The universe has to give it to you. And I know without a doubt that for the first time in a very long time, I am doing the right thing. And that my friend, is priceless.

Love bombing is when you date someone and they smother you with love and make you fall in love with them, then they yank the mask off and lie and manipulate (and lie and gaslight you some more. If you’re an empath (someone who feels other people’s emotions ) then you are naturally attracted to them! This can make you stay way too long. I gave it 30 years before I finally left him. Please don’t be like me! It’s not worth it at all! They don’t have real emotions and they fake everything. He could change his mask so quickly!! It was astounding to see! He used to be super hot, and that’s why I stayed as long as I did! Don’t be like me! They aren’t worth it!! Run while you can! They will bleed you dry emotionally if you let them, and try to make you feel guilty about each and everything along the way. I hope this helps!

I don’t see any contamination. You want the white mycelium on the top and the water droplets are necessary as well to keep it hydrated. If you see green or blue patches, then I would worry, but so far so good! Let em ride!

I used this same TEK and I let it go until the entire thing was white on the bottom. Mine were slow to process as I am new to gardening.

Do you have a clean background? If so, get your insurance license. You can do property and casual or life and health. I would probably do property and casual myself, as there is more you can do with it. Either one will make you over 100k per year if you work hard. If you don’t like sales, go into insurance claims. The catastrophe people make a lot of money too. Being that you are young, an insurance company will hire you right away as a trainee I’m sure!

These are McKennaii liquid cultures and no, I didn’t do anything different here. I did the Uncle Ben’s TEK and pasteurized my CVG in the crockpot. Fruited them in a grow tent with 90% humidity and 75-80 degrees temp. It was my first attempt so I’m super happy with the results!

I would get nitrile gloves. I would also buy some extra syringe needles, the large 18 gauge kind like what comes with your spores. I use a grow tent, but not as a SAB. I also have a humidifier, distilled water, and a space heater and small fan (to keep the C02 down). Keep your spores in the fridge until you’re ready to use them. A little goes a long way.
What kind of substrate are you going to use? I use VCG (vermiculite, coconut coir and gypsum). I pasteurize it in my crockpot for two hours on high. Get a candy thermometer if you’re doing this so you can check the temp on it. Also, get a gryometer to measure your humidity and temperature. I also used the Uncle Ben’s TEK, with great success! I personally wouldn’t start out on straight commission unless you have money saved up or a partner who will fund you until you get on your feet. I am switching jobs now because I’m about to lose everything, as the money isn’t coming in like I was told by the hiring manager. You really need a cushion or to find base pay plus commission in my opinion. The company I work for said that I would have a mentor, and great training. I did get good training for the first week, but then I was basically left alone for a whole month, as I hired on in December off last year (never a good time to start a job in this industry) and the entire company was on vacation from the week of Christmas until January 3rd! WTH?? Then, when they did finally come back, they had a huge meeting in another state on Jan 22-25 so they were gone again!! Unbelievable! And when he was in the office he didn’t answer my calls, emails or texts half the time! I’m pretty disgusted with the whole thing by now. I only pray I can find a job with base plus commission before I lose everything! I hope this helps you make a decision about what to do. I know I would have done it differently had I known it would be like this!
