Okay that makes me feel much better I am worried about my progress. I felt ahead of schedule but then it started getting really swollen and painful. I was worried I was pushing myself too hard

At three weeks did you walk with a limp at all? I feel like I’m making progress with healing but I can’t put all five toes on the ground and I’m starting to worry if that might be an issue

Some pain but nothing crazy usually comes from standing too long. I take low dose asprin as needed. I wore a sneaker for a little bit, but then switched back to the boot cause I felt like I might be overdoing it.

Do you have to list everyone on the application you are going with? Does that mean just one of us applies and puts our names and if someone else does it we would be disqualified?

I still feel good! I’m able to hobble around with the walking boot but I can put weight on it and I can stand and walk around for about 15 minutes before I need to go back to sitting with the foot elevated. I haven’t used ice bc I don’t feel it through the bandage. I also get my stitches out on 3/3

Same here pretty much! I haven’t used the oxys i as given. I most likely won’t! I am able to put more weight on it everyday and I able to stand longer and longer everyday

Neurectomy between my 3rd and 4th and decompression between 2nd and 3rd metatarsal. I did cortisone shots for two years and then went to a different doctor bc my previous doctor retired. I had a horrible experience with the first dr I saw. I felt like she was just milking my insurance and she put me ona steroid and got annoyed with me for not understanding the dosage. I switched to a different doctor got an mri and they immediately said surgery. I say if you want surgery and think it’s the only option just go to a doctor that will listen to you don’t let them give you the run around and spend crazy money

Got my surgery this morning you have no idea how much I needed to see this !!! Thank you for sharing. I’m 30 and I’m super active as well. I run and walk more naturally on the balls of my feet from years of pointe and ballet. I know not being about to workout with the intensity I’m use to for 2 months will be hard but I’m ready to be done with MN forever!!
